    Inside the Home:
    As you walk-in, the tile throughout creates a sense of openness. The décor is nautical with creative touches. The living room boasts a leather couch and loveseat with a 55-inch smart TV and free WIFI. The fully equipped kitchen has granite countertops, new cabinetry, stainless steel refrigerator with ice and water dispenser, dishwasher, glass-top stove/oven, microwave, a farm sink, and an island with 4 barstools. There is a toaster oven and a flex brew coffee maker that makes 12 cups or a K-cup single brew. We love to cook so the kitchen is fully equipped with an array of spices. With families in mind, the dining table seats six.

    The master bedroom features a king size bed with an advance gel memory mattress, 32-inch smart TV and a private bathroom with a walk-in shower. The 2nd bedroom has two queen size beds with an advance gel memory mattress, 32-inch smart TV and a guest bathroom with a walk-in shower. Let us not forget the inside washer & dryer, linens, and pool towels.

Our stay was wonderful. We liked the location as it was a short boat ride to either Vaca cut or the 7 mile bridge. Ample dockage, refreshing swim spa and the palapa was great. The house was supplied well! Would stay again.

SO RELAXING!

Fishing from the property, saw 3 manatees, enjoyed the tiki hut and pool. Kitchen was very well stocked and beds were comfortable.

Manatees, loved watering them during our stay. Loved the anility to get fresh fish and cook them ourselves. Would book again if available next year.

Excellent group lodging

We enjoyed our stay. The dock easily accommodated our 39 foot vessel and the location was an easy 5 minute ride on island taxi anywhere you wanted to go. The airport was not an issue and the house was in great condition with plenty of amenities and great communication with the property manager. I would definitely book here again.

Great vacation stay!

What a wonderful home! We stayed with our son and daughter in law. The home was perfect. It had everything we needed - inside and out. The location is a great mid-way point if you are doing things in Islamorada and in Key West. Highly recommend!

Well first off. They were ready early. House was very clean. Location was excellent. The boat ramp was a short trip down the road. I would recommend to anyone wanting to stay down in the keys.

Great stay for lobster season and fishing!

A beautiful quaint home with all the amenities anyone could ask for for fishing and lobstering. In the beginning, slightly apprehensive to being so close to an airport, however NOT an issue as it appears the airport is not active during the night. Loved the home, quiet, clean and accommodating! 😁

Great place not to tucked away and in the middle of everything. And great fishing in the back yard. Beautiful set up outside and inside so clean and roomy and loved that the two rooms were split. Definitely coming back!!!

Birthday getaway

This property was very nice. The layout of the home was perfect to accommodate two couples. There was a lot of outside area to relax and even fish in the channel off the wall. We saw manatees daily, sat in the heated pool and enjoyed the tiki hut swings. Restaurants and shopping was close by. I highly recommend this place. Thanks for having us!!

Cozy Retreat

Very pleasant vacation home. Everything was as described. The house was very well equipped for cooking meals. The location is close to dining and grocery stores. We also spent hours watching the manatees in the front of the pier. As for boating - we had easy access to open water by boat. Would highly recommend!

Couldn't Have Been Better!

We enjoyed our stay during our time in Marathon! The home was very clean upon arrival and is beautifully decorated. I have been in the hotel industry for 30 years and certainly appreciate the hospitality we received, the cleanliness and the amenities available -- all of which helped make our visit memorable! Great experience

Very clean, with modern updates, and comfortable. Convenient boat ramp right down the road. Great outdoor area and nice seawall to tie the boat up. Great communication with the host as well. It was great to have our dogs with us and not worry about them at a kennel. We will definitely rent this property again. We stayed 2 weeks and didn't want to leave

We arrived at the house and pretty much everything was as it said in the description. Clean and organized, really nice place. Easy to dock the boat. Saw a manatee couple hanging out in the channel everyday. The only negative thing i could say was the mattresses were a little soft. We actually hung outside more than inside so.Really awesome place!outsmo

Amazing!

We had the best stay!! The house was so clean and comfy and everything was provided! Even toothbrushes and toothpaste!! You can spend ALL day outside! My husband woke up and fished off the deck every single morning. And that conch shower!!! Wooow!!! Such a nice way to cool off!! Can’t wait to go back!!!

Excellent Trip !!!!

The owner Danielle was awesome. She answered every question we had without delay. The location of this property worked perfect for us. The public boat ramp was only 300 yards from the house making it super easy to put the boat in and take it out. The canal this house sits on is extremely quiet with no through traffic coming past the house. The house was exceptionally clean and has everything you need. Perfect house for our trip. We had 4 adults and there was plenty of room. We would definitely recommend this house and plan on returning. Thank you Danielle.

Family Vacation

We had a wonderful and relaxing stay here. Loved the outdoor space the most. We played games on the outdoor table, used the “spool” everyday. We used the bikes and kayaks that this property offers. Loved taking outside showers after coming home with our jet skis we docked right in front. Kitchen was great for cooking. Boat ramp is a short walk down the street. $25.- each to launch/recover your vessel.We would stay here again. Lots of fish circling and jumping everyday right in front of the dock. Our teenage kids jumped in the water for diving and swimming.

Awesome property

We loved our vacation at this property, especially the outside space. The house was super clean and the beds were comfortable. Really appreciated the soap and shampoo being provided. We cooled off in the pool many times. I loved the tiki hut. I would enjoy my coffee under it in the morning and would watch a movie at night while enjoying a cocktail. I now want to build one at our house. Unfortunately we didn't see any manatees at the house like a lot of reviews say but we did see iguanas crossing the property about every day. Danielle is very quick to answer any questions.

Amazing accommodations in the beautiful Florida keys.

Sachs Sea Shack is a perfect house in Marathon! Hands down. The locations on the gulf canal made it easy to head out either through the cut or under the bridge with only a quick gulf run Either way. The canal was deep and house is conveniently located for simple docking. The owner was super friendly and helpful prior, during and after checkout. The house has everything someone could need for cooking, drinking, lounging, rigging and of course fishing. The bait freezer and ice maker are game changers! We couldn’t stop talking about how great the ice maker was! Unfortunately, We didn’t get a chance to take the kayaks out but they were definitely a nice to have. We can’t wait to return.

Whats not to love!

This was an amazing property from the tasteful decor to the waterfront view! Danielle was a great host that answered all our needs and questions right away. We never had to wait for a call or text back. The house is tastefully decorated with everything you can possibly need. Fully stocked, we wanted for nothing. There are many restaurants nearby from pizza to burgers to fine dining within 7 minutes of the property. My husband was up every morning fishing in the back yard. There are plenty of fish to be caught and it would be fun for the kids as well. The beds in the house were very comfortable and it was so quite and peaceful at night. The fact that it was a dog friendly property was a huge plus for us as our poodles always travel with us. I cant say enough about this wonderful vacation property and Danielle. We will definitely be coming back! The only thing I didnt like was..... Having to leave !!!!!!

Highly Recommend This Hidden Gem ...

This home was perfect for our stay. My husband and I, our son and daughter-in-law and 10-month-old grandson spent a weekend here. Our only regret was that we wish we could have stayed longer! We walked in and the place was so nicely decorated and absolutely spotless. It even smelled clean. Danielle, the owner, knew that we were bringing a baby, so the Pack 'n Play was already set up. How thoughtful and convenient! The kitchen was very well equipped, the linens were very nice, and the layout was just perfect for our stay. The outdoor area made for such a relaxing and comfortable spot as the amenities were many and wonderful. From the kayaks to the swings to the spa pool, everything was enjoyable. This home really offers everything! We've never stayed at a VRBO where so much was provided, from dishwasher pods to paper towels to shampoo, etc. Everything, and I mean everything, was provided. We will definitely be recommending this place to our family and friends, and we ourselves plan to make a return visit ... this time for a longer stay.

Excellent from beginning to end!

My husband and I stayed with 2 friends for 7 nights. We had an excellent experience from booking to check out. We came by boat so were able to take advantage of the 60' dock which had power and water. It was so nice just walking out the back door and hopping on the boat to experience all the water activities the Keys have to offer from Islamorada to Key West (would highly recommend snorkeling at Sombrero Reef)! The house is set up so comfortably for 2 couples, we could spend time together or have enough space to be on our own. To be completely honest we spent most of our time while at the home in the back yard using the Tiki hut to enjoy our beautiful surroundings. The house is fully stocked with everything you could want or need including bikes, beach chairs, a pool, coolers, a fully stocked kitchen, washer and dryer and our favorite was the commercial grade ice maker out in the tiki bar, we would just fill up the boat coolers in the morning and take off for the day! Danielle was an excellent host. The few questions we had from booking to check out were usually answered within 15 minutes. I would highly recommend this property! We cannot wait to bring our adult children back with us next time!
