"Carolina our host was amazing. Great communication - very helpful and always quick to reply. We visited with 4 adult children. Loved the pool and overall the property was really nice. So nice having a big kitchen to cook as a family. We also had Donna the Island Chef come in and cook for us one evening. That was such a nice option vs going out to eat when you want to treat yourself! We also did multiple excursions (fishing and a boat/snorkel) with Captn R Charter and Tours and Reagan was wonderful! Hands down the best guide we’ve ever had!! Another highlight of our trip was the Roatan Brewing Co just a short walk from the house. Fantastic options (not just beer either) the owner and staff are so great too! No matter the time of year you visit the bugs can be bad. We found that Avons skin so soft applied offer all over skin really helped prevent bites. We had a fun time on the island and made lots of memories!"

"Palmetto Bay is beautiful and quiet, with bungalows and homes surrounded by natural landscaping and a nice central pool with a restaurant. If thousands of people are on island from cruise ships any given day, you would never know it here. Our house was quaint, roomy, and clean, with solid screens in all windows and doors, and it was convenient to the pool and oceanfront. The only reason it didn't earn 5 stars is that the coffee pot didn't work properly, there is no oven (for pizza), we couldn't get the grill to work, and the bed sheets need upgrading. We did not complain because the price was fair, and these small things did not take away from our total enjoyment of the location and the house. The screened porch is the best, allowing you to sit outdoors without insects. Arrange a snorkeling trip through Scuba Roatan, the onsite dive shop. Sam took us out and we had a fantastic time."
