I am indeed so surprised by your review. As you had asked specific questions on VRBO regarding your specific requests which we explained we could not meet. AFTER that we had no further communication UNTIL you arrived at the RECEPTION desk in MARBELLA. I had no IDEA that you were going, I had not sent you directions , key collection arrangements or anything else. Nor had I informed the housekeeper TO GET THE APARTMENT READY FOR GUESTS. I had NO idea you were just going to arrive without a Reservation form or even been given the address! You just arrived there , and luckily the manager called me and then gave you keys and explained the apartment would be cleaned and made ready if you went away for a couple of hours. This you declined to do. The beds were not even made up, Eva Maria was called back and made them up and gave you towels. I am glad you enjoyed the area but I am fascinated how you didn't think it strange not have had any communication with the owner regarding the address! check in times or key arrangements. in fact it was just lucky the Manager was on duty , as none of the other staff would have given you keys without my instruction! After all its not a hotel where guests can walk in off the street and ask for a room. Under the circumstances I really do think the staff went out of their way to welcome you and make you comfortable. It is unfair to say the apartment was not clean when you arrived unexpectedly ! They are a wonderful team who are always praised by our guests.
