"Great location as it is around the corner from the metro, but the street the hotel is on is a little daunting. Lots of vacant storefronts and graffiti everywhere. Once inside the hotel, it was funky, creative, and clean. The elevator is the tiniest elevator I’ve ever been in! The bathroom in my room was equally small, but for the price I was happy there due to the convenience."

"Pros: the hotel value was definitely reasonable for the location: close to transportation and restaurants, enabling us to walk to most places. Everyone (staff) was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast lady and the front desk staff are fantastic and treated us like family. The room was clean when we arrived and cleaned daily. The balcony was nice but it was too wet and cold to enjoy it, no fault of the hotel though. The USB connectors were very helpful. Cons: if you request a balcony room, be prepared to walk up a flight of stairs. These rooms are on the 5th floor, but the elevator only goes to the 4th. Also, a drawer unit would be nice to put undergarments in. Probably could replace the 2 shelves on each side of the bed with small drawer nightstands or a small dresser. Although there was a closet pole for hanging dresses , etc., there was no place, except a few shelves, to place undergarments and most of the shelves had something else on them, glasses, safe, small fridge, lamp, etc. so we basically lived out of a suitcase."

"We had the junior suite, pretty spacious for 3 people. Hotel is a few steps away from the Louvre. What it lacks is some details: water in the shower runs cold and hot; instant coffee in the room is disappointing for a 5-star hotel; staff overall are not happy with their job and not greeting guests or smiles. For the $1000 / night we paid, we won’t choose it again."

"This hotel is in a great location. So close to the Louvre and other attraction. The staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean and well appointed. They were renovating during the day, and the staff pre-apologized for any inconvenience, but there was never really any inconvenience. We used the pull out couch bed and it was comfortable. Very positive stay."
