The Boulevard Inn & Bistro

"The room was clean and very nice. The Bistro restaurant was absolutely over the top for dinner. The hotel and restaurant staff were all very friendly, helpful, and professional. The only complaint I have is the eggs served at the included breakfast we're probably the worst I've ever had (powdered, maybe?). Aside from that, an amazing experience. We will be back!"

"My husband and 2 year old and I enjoyed our first time stay at this hotel! The location was great! (About a 10 minute walk to the beach and playground and super close to the downtown shops and restaurants). It is dated, you can tell its been around for a while and it shows in the building and hallways, it isnt a new & fancy hotel, but our room was clean, the staff were great, the complimentary breakfast was nice (muffins, bagels, cereal, coffee, juice, and there were breakfast sandwiches you can heat up in the microwave) and the location was just what we wanted. We are looking forward to our next visit here in the future! :)"

"The overall experience was pleasant — the room was spacious, bed comfortable, and I enjoyed the balcony with the view of the water. I didn't drive, so the location is a little bit inconvenient; although they have a shuttle bus that goes into town. I had a dinner at the restaurant one evening which was ok; the cocktail was tasty."

"Host was excellent to work with. Very quiet neighborhood, landscaping was well taken care of. Didn't use the pool area but looked nice. Wish there would have been a jacuzzi. Spacious home, well stocked. We really enjoyed our stay. Walking distance to Plank & Tavern, nice restaurant/ bar on the water. Pricey but everything we had was delicious & generous portions."

"Host was very easy to reach and quick to respond. The house was the most confortable we have ever stayed in.Clean decorated cute bedrooms. Shops were a few blocks away. Beach walking distance.Really liked owners shop.Lots of other stores too."

"Beautiful room with great attention to historic details. Loved the gold fixtures... it was a nice touch. Spotless room and all amenities. Late night cookies and snacks were a great surprise. The Directors room was private and quiet. Please check the outlets in the room, the plugs needed to be "wiggled" to work. The water hotpot was super cute, but we couldn't get the outlet to keep it on. Thank you for the stay. You've created a wonderful atmosphere and beautiful space."

"This is an awesome place, very clean, quiet, and spacious. The rooftop deck is nice, with great views, but too hot during the day in the summertime. The one thing to know is that, while there is parking, it is a block away and not easy to haul all your luggage if there’s no spot directly in front of the building. We were able to pay to park in front while unloading and loading, so it worked out great. The location is GREAT! Walking distance to the main street with shops and food. Not a bad walk to the beach either if you don’t mind walking up and down the hill. I would highly recommend this place for its cleanliness, location, and great communication from the owner."

"We had a great stay at Downtown St. Joseph. House was nicely furnished and clean. Our favorite spot was the front porch for morning. coffee. Location is perfect, easy walk to all downtown shops and restaurants."
