"There was no soap of any kind in the room. Elevator was dirty. A dog peeded in the elevator."

"I arrived at 1:20 AM so check-in was kind of slow. There was a button to push on the outside. I think it woke a guy up to come and check in. Anyhow the rooms are outside access huge parking lot, which was a plus because I was in my 18 wheeler it appeared. The rooms have been updated with better light fixtures, simulated, wood floors, and the bathrooms had the one piece shower tub combo. The king size bad had two mattress covers that were padded and made it feel like a memory foam mattress very comfortable! The free breakfast was all carbohydrates toast, muffins, waffles, etc. The price was as lowest I got budget hotels in that area"

"Hotel Vandivort is my favorite spot to stay in Springfield. It's clean, the staff is excellent, easy to park, great food options within walking distance and overall great rooms."

"Everything was great. Looks like the hot tub is gone now and the pool looks like it may not be operational by summer but other than that everything was great. PJ was very helpful at the front desk and friendly throughout our stay. "
