"Toilet kept backed up"

"I would not recommend staying in this hotel. The Wi-Fi did not work. We had issues with our TV and had to reset it a few times. The place looks nice in photos and from the outside, but from the inside it smelled old and rotten. We had to leave the windows open to air it out. It was absolutely terrible. Everything was outdated. It’s great that it’s a pet friendly hotel but if you don’t have a pet, then you’re dealing with pet hair and dander and the area they provide for them to relieve themselves that smells horrible. We attempted to request for our resort fees to be waived due to these issues and they denied our request. "

"The room was a good size and having two bathrooms was very convenient. It is an old hotel so there are obvious wear and tear. However, I didn't understand why the sheets on the bottom where the mattress box is had rips and holes around it. And, the night stand was sticky as if it wasn't properly cleaned. The location was very convenient. The gondolas were less than a 5 minute walk away as well as the shops and restaurants. My biggest complaint is when I removed the privacy sign, housekeeping didn't come in to clean the room, take out the trash, or bring in new towel and toiletry. I was not feeling well that day and i had to go to the front desk 3 times before they sent clean towels. If housekeeping or front desk would pick up the phone, I wouldn't have to keep going downstairs. I called them more than ten times and no one picks up. "

"The place was as cute as ever. Our cabin was quiet, peaceful, plenty warm. Plus, we loved that we could bring our dog! The kitchen needed more equipment, eg measuring cups, cutting board, those types of things. We will stay there again if we get a chance! We only interacted with one employee. She was fantastic!"

"I have been staying at this hotel for 16 years now. They are improving the look with all the construction around but the customer service has become worse. Check in, my upgrade price was much lower at the kiosk than at the front desk. Cleaning? Not for me. I stayed for 5 nights and after 3 nights in a row of them telling me someone was coming to clean, no one ever came and it was time for me to leave. All I really wanted was towels and to take out the trash but that is too much to ask here. Bring back Harvey’s and the awesome staff that used to make this place great "
