Summary:

Emerald Bay Village, located right at the “Y” in South Lake Tahoe, puts our guests within walking distance from restaurants, coffee shops, and grocery stores. Emerald Bay Village’s location cannot be beaten. You’ll be just a 5-minute drive from Heavenly Village, casinos, and the heart of South Lake Tahoe.



This cozy cabin has enough room to sleep 4 and still has all the essentials for a small getaway. This cabin has a mini fridge and a microwave to store and heat up leftovers from eating out. Both bedrooms have queen sized beds and comfortable bedding for a relaxing stay.



This cabin is best suited for guests seeking a quiet retreat in the mountains. If you are looking to have a "festive" vacation and a place to party this home would not be a great fit.



The Space:

The space includes a kitchenette with a microwave and a mini fridge. The entire cabin is approximately only 750 square feet. The photos may happen to make the space larger than it is. This cabin only has a small kitchenette and does not have a full-sized kitchen.



Please note that our cabin only has central heating and no AC. Evenings typically cool down enough to open up windows and help air out the home.



Guest Access:

Last-minute and same-day bookings are welcome as check-in instructions will automatically be sent at booking confirmation.



The Neighborhood:

There's a large grass field, basketball court, and full playground for kids just a minute's walk from our property.



Other Things to Note:

The unit doesn't have A/C, but there are ceiling fans.



We do not accept pets.



Early check-ins are available per request for a small $85 fee! Ask for availability first!

Our stay in Tahoe

Everything was great! Clean, well stocked, comfy beds, nice bathroom. Only suggestion is hanging a mirror or two in house so if multiple people getting ready, bathroom isn’t only mirror. A great stay!

Cozy, clean & great location

Super cozy little cabin. Moderate furnishings, everything you need. The outdoor little game/bbq space was fun. Perfect location for South Lake Tahoe activities.

Lovely cabin

We checked in on Wednesday evening. The cabin was exactly like the photos. Comfortable, well equipped and CLEAN. (Impressed!) Updated. Limited seating in the living area, but with only two of us, no problem. The shower configuration is tight, but manageable. Only issue from Day 1:the Dish system was out. No one able to repair it. The Roku backup was spotty at best.No Internet! We were able to get through to ‘Danny’ who came out on Thursday morning and did his best to connect a very limited system for the remainder of our stay. He was fantastic!!! FIVE STARS! He tried so hard to help in every way he could... under the circumstances. But leaving on Saturday. Still no contact with property managers (not on site) or those that confirmed our reservation. Disappointed. For a cozy cabin in a nice area, it worked. Double-check the location before you book. It’s a 20+ minute drive to downtown, the lake, casinos and major ski areas.

Great cabin retreat

This property was great for 3 of us to enjoy a cabin retreat. The cabin is sleek and modern which we appreciated, it's a quiet location to sleep well and enjoy a peaceful vacation. The barbecue and common area are enjoyable. The location is convenient, with restaurants and many parts of town available walking distance and a few minutes drive.

Great place! Great location!

Loved the place and the outdoor seating/fire pit(s). I had a smaller cabin and 4 adults with one bathroom was a bit of a challenge. Overall, I would definitely recommend this to others.

This petite place is lovely and cozy. It seems smaller than photos displayed but everything is compact and complete. We had a 6-month baby travelling with us but there's no issue at all. I would recommend this place to both singles and families, however, upto three adults and one baby might be the max :)

This cozy place was great for a short weekend trip to Tahoe! Communications with the property manager was very thorough and transparent, which made our check-in a breeze. The place was also very clean and tidy with kitchen amenities that we used for a quick breakfast or heat up leftovers. The location is away from the lake and Heavenly but super quiet, and it's convenient to get out of Tahoe. A plus - Since we had two young children with us, the park/playground behind the property was perfect for our children to play in the snow as well.

Decent, but poor cleanliness

Arrived late to our VRBO, found cleanliness to be poor. Listing was listed a no pets, found pet and human hair throughout, however worst was all the bedding, sheets and pillows. Housekeeping did come with fresh sheets at 10pm. Management had no consideration to even a partial refund, or moving us to another room. Communication slow and non accommodating. Not sure why they couldn't at lease remove my cleaning fee, when it wasn't cleaned before we arrived.

Tahoe Vacation

This place is very comfortable for our 2 person stay. It is clean and has tasteful interior design. It is very close to restaurants and grocery store. It’s a short distance from beautiful Emerald Bay and many hiking trails.

Lovely cottage with nice ammenities

Overall, this is a great place to stay. Super modern and clean in decor and style. The beds were comfy, the linens as soft as butter and it truly had pretty much everything we needed.
