The Riad is a quiet oasis inside the bustling medina. The facilities and service were impeccable. We really enjoyed Mr. Omar's professional service both at breakfast and dinner.

Riad Idra was a wonderful experience from the personal welcome from the manager to the room, the quiet interior and roof deck, to the staff, and the food. Its location is ideal to exploring all areas within the medina and easy, quick access to a drop off point where taxis are parked to quickly take you to areas outside the medina. This couldn't have been better for a first time in Morocco and a medina.

Great location in the Medina. Rooms were very nice and staff was extremely helpful. A tour canceled last minute and they found a replacement private guide within an hour. I would stay again, but would pick a place with a pool in the summer months!

LOVED!!

We had a wonderful stay. The location is great access to the Medina and all the sites. The staff was exceptional and the room was well appointed and beautiful. Our breakfast was amazing. I would definitely stay here again when I come back. Hands-down, a wonderful experience.

The hotel is great and the staff were all fantastic - highly recommended as long as you are happy being in the centre of the hustle and bustle of Marrakesh outside of the hotel walls. To be clear, once inside the walls of the hotel it is peaceful and tranquil.

Great riad in best part of Medina

First of all, it’a a very charming riad. And IF you are in Marrakech, you want a riad. Secondly it’s in the best part of Medina (IMHO) - close to everything but a little quieter. The last but not least - rooms are great, people are fantastic.

Calm Oasis

Riad Idra is spotlessly clean and the rooms are beautifully decorated. Karine and her staff are wonderfully friendly and helpful. Worthy of its almost perfect score!

I booked this place as I’d never seen a hotel with such a high rating (9.8/10) and can now say for myself that this Riad is certainly worthy of such a high rating. Everything is immaculate and thought out, the breakfast is fantastic, and the entire Riad is a tranquil oasis in the bustling market area. The Riad can also book good day trips for you as I couldn’t be bothered trying to find a non-scam tour provider. The Atlas Mountains trip we went on (booked through the Riad) was absolutely fantastic and I cannot reccomend enough!

The Riad Idra is an oasis in the midst of the Medinah. From the moment you arrive, the General Manager extraordinaire, Karine, is there to assist in every way. She is multilingual, sophisticated, caring, warm and welcoming. The staff is attentive, discrete and well trained. Rooms are comfortable, sheets are ironed and fresh, extremely clean and unique. The food is delicious, the common areas comfortable and well appointed. We strongly recommend the Hamman in the Riad followed by massage - delightful. I will definitely come again.

**Exceptional Stay at Riad Idra - An Oasis in Marr

I recently stayed at Riad Idra in the heart of Marrakech’s old town, and it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, Karine, the incredible hotel manager, made us feel right at home, offering valuable advice on must-visit spots and personally organizing guided tours in Marrakech and its surroundings. The riad itself is a sanctuary of elegance and comfort, maintained to the highest standard of cleanliness. The staff were discreet, polite, and always ready to assist. They struck the perfect balance of being attentive yet never intrusive. One of the highlights was the food—a must-try experience in the riad. Breakfasts were plentiful and delicious, setting a wonderful tone for the day. We also tried their dinner, which was exceptional. Each dish was crafted from fresh, same-day market ingredients. Be sure to book in advance; the meals are worth every bit of planning. I celebrated my birthday during our stay, and the staff went above and beyond to make the day extra special. Thanks to their efforts, it was a memorable celebration. If you’re planning a trip to Marrakech, I highly recommend Riad Idra. We’re already looking forward to returning!

The most amazing place to stay!

Our stay at Riad Idra was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above & beyond to ensure we had the most comfortable & enjoyable experience. They were incredibly friendly, helpful & couldn’t do enough for us, always ready to offer advice, arrange transfers & assist with restaurant reservations. They even provided us with a map and highlighted points of interest for us to explore during the day. The Riad itself is absolutely stunning — a perfect blend of traditional Moroccan architecture & modern luxury. Our room was beautifully decorated & the attention to detail was evident throughout, from fresh flowers to the thoughtful touch of heating our room before we returned in the evening, ensuring we were greeted with comfort after a day of exploring. The location is ideal, nestled in the heart of the medina, just a short stroll from all the major attractions, yet peaceful and serene once you step inside. It was the perfect base for exploring Marrakech. The breakfast each morning was a highlight — fresh, flavourful & plenty of choice. We also dined in the evening & were thoroughly impressed by the delicious Moroccan food. The entire property was spotlessly clean & we were consistently impressed with the level of attentiveness. Being our first trip to Marrakech, we enjoyed the riad experience: an oasis from the chaos outside the door in the Medina. Riad Idra’s staff was super helpful and friendly, and the breakfast on the rooftop terrace very nice. The room was quite large and comfortable. They arranged an afternoon trip for us to Agafay which was one of the highlights of our stay in Morocco.
