I stayed here for my last two nights in Marrakech and can highly recommend this gorgeous Riad. First of all, the interior design is very harmonious, the rooms are spacious and well designed, the riad is really gorgeous and the breakfast is yummy. You can eat it outside in the sun or in the little wintergarden on top of the building. Or, of course next to the nice little pool. The beds are comfy and the cost-benefit ratio is simply unbeatable!
But what really striked me was the generousity, attentiveness and thoughtfulness of the staff. Everybody was extremely friendly, helped whenever and wherever they could and even walked the extra mile to assist wherever possible. I've never had such attentive staff in a hotel before. Simply amazing! I would stay here again in a heartbeat! The only downside, which obviously doesn't have anything to do with the hotel itself, is that it's near a mosque and the muezzin will wake you up at least once a day, but hey, that's Marrakech, that's part of the magic and earplugs are cheap.
The property is beautiful and quiet, the staff are so friendly and the food is lovely. I recommend the rooms on the second floor, the ground floor room opens on to where people smoke so the room was a little smoky. But the staff were so kind they moved us up to the second floor for our second night. A great location and wonderful staff.
Riad Sadaka is great, I wouldn't hesitate to stay again, in fact it will be my choice next time I visit Marrakech. Don't be put off by the hard to find location - and accept that you may have to give the kids on the street a few Dh to guide you there if your taxi driver doesn't know the place. Also don't be put off by the narrow medina alleyways in the neighbourhood which can be a little unnerving initially, but it was safe. Top aspects of the hotel are 1) the great staff and service (particular mention to Sherif), they were always smiling and helpful, even arranging early breakfasts and coffee to accommodate our early starts, and 2) the relaxed and chilled Moroccan ambience of this Riad. It's about a 20 minute walk into the market, and the centre of the median, however it was nice to be a little out of that, in a quieter area, and also a similar distance to the new town. Finally, I'll mention that prior to arrival the Riad will offer an airport collection/drop - and I suggest you take it, as they don't take any mark-up and it can be cheaper than the prices the airport taxi drivers may be asking for.
Sehr hübsches Riad in der Medina sehr nettes und aufmerksames Personal, tolle Dachterrasse
Feines Frühstück, schöner Rückzugort nach einem turbulenten Tag in der Medina und den souks..
sehr empfehlenswert
The location is a little bit difficult to find, need to pass some creepy streets, a little bit far from the market. But on the other hand, the room is super stylish and super cozy, the staffs are super nice and helped to book an excursion for me, the owner gave me a free drive to another place where I was meeting my friends. In general, it was a very pleasant stay.
Very pretty riad with a quiet inner courtyard. Nice breakfast, though I'd include some fruit in it. It was mostly pastries. The street is difficult to find, so getting picked up from the airport by the hotel is a very good idea. Don't bring a car to Marrakesh, there is no parking nearby. Even if you get a cab, they'll leave you at the city wall and you'll have to find your way inside.
The playful kitten in the courtyard was an added bonus.
Really wonderful staff, nothing was too much trouble. The hotel was lovely too, but a little hard to find, definately get the transfer from the airport. I would stay again!
It was quite hard to find because there were no sings poiting toward the riad. The riad itself and the staff were lovely. Our arrival seemed unexpected though because they had to prepare the room when we arrived but the waiting was totally worth it. The rooms are lovely decorated and very spacious. The maid and the guard were among the nicest people whe have met in morocco. They should fix the bell on the terrace though because i had to call the manager once because noone heard the bell on the terrace. The surrounding area is not the nicest area in marrakesh but we had no trouble there...just a few kids wanted money from us for showing us the way. They walked us 10 meters and i refused to pay them for that. No trouble there
