"Very nice. We were in the newer section in the back - the space worked for us. Overall the hotel is fine - we ate dinner there once. Sat on the porch which was a little cold - they have plastic curtains to close it off (to a degree) and radiant heaters. Seems like they were a bit light on staffing - saw only 2 waitstaff - so they had a hard time keeping up. We were there at the end of the season (mid April) so I need to cut them some slack. Russell is nice and peaceful, but quite small. Stayed for 3 nights which was probably one night too long."

"Great resort no gym and sauna"

"Our group of 9 adults stayed at this well equipped comfortable home for 10 nights. Every room had a double bed that perfectly suited our needs. The huge deck with drop down canvas kept us warm & sheltered outside during wet weather. The deck also provided an awesome space to share meals and enjoy the beautiful views of Tapeka point. Our hosts were nothing short of brilliant! Ahead of the cyclone they advised us that a generator was available in the event of a power cut - just awesome communications throughout. Overall we rate our stay 10/10, and highly recommend this property and its hosts. We had the best holiday with our kids thanks to this awesome home!"

"Amazing Views.We recently brought our whole family to stay in this beautiful property situated just 20mins from KeriKeri and so glad we chose it. The house is huge with 4 very large bedrooms and huge living areas. The outside deck provides near 180 deg views of the bay and has everything you need for a family holiday.We would definitely stay again and encourage others to as well."

"The communication was so easy with Jessie and the location was just amazing and with easy access to our fishing boat was great being able to moor to their bouy in the bay .... "The house was brilliant for six adults! Everyone had their own private space and the common areas are huge and welcoming. We spent lots of time watching the activity on the water and examining the night sky, which was amazing so far from city lights. "

"A Little Gem in the most stunning setting. The studio was all you could ask for and more. Modern, light airy well equipped and spotlessly clean. Alan our host was friendly informative and helpful. The views from our patio which included a private pathway to the beach were amazing. Highly recommend to anyone looking to stay in Bay of Islands "
