"Beautiful historic hotel very nicely renovated, updated cool and quirky. very comfortable. everything looked very well cared for including the lobby and hallways, what looked to be original doors and woodwork and stained glass. so beautiful. the bed and linens were great, and this might sound silly, but I appreciated that they weren't white towels. i asked, and the housekeeper showed us some of the other rooms. Which also looked amazing. stayed here while attending the Missouri state, fair, a little bit of a distance. But worth it"

"Easy check in & out. Clean, we do a pretty good check before settling in. The bathroom was on the smaller end, husband is 6'4 so yeah the older establishments tend to be that way. One entry way in the back smells bad. Did not have that anywhere else. Plenty of places to eat or run to the store."
