This is the Ultimate Vacation Cabin for Fishing, Swimming, and just Relaxing. This property has easy access down to the water. There is a large dock with Two Slips and a Swimming Deck.We are on Deep Water not in a Cove.The View is Spectacular from the Cabin or Dock.
The inside of this Cabin has been designed and decorated with a modern farmhouse feel and features a Kitchen with a Subzero Fridge and Ceramic Cooktop. The Bathroom is large and includes a Washer and Dryer for your convenience.

Sweet Respite

Much needed time of rest in a beautiful home with direct access & views of Lake Hartwell.Weather didn’t cooperate, but that was ok. Can’t wait to return.

Peaceful cabin on the lake

We had a wonderful visit to rural Georgia to stay in this quiet and peaceful cabin on Lake Hartwell in Martin, GA. The cabin had everything we needed to enjoy our weekend (ie stocked kitchen, linens, towels, WIFI and Roku TV). Seeing family photos around the cabin made us feel very welcome. I would definitely stay here again.

Perfect!

The only thing I didn’t like about this place was having to leave! It was absolutely perfect in every way! Wonderful communication, very clean, perfect location on the lake with gorgeous view! We had our Thanksgiving there and the kitchen was stocked wonderfully. I can’t Wait to go back! Thank you so much for opening your home up for others to enjoy!

Family lake trip

My family and I have been renting this little gem for years and have had many many memories here. We were lucky again to of shared another family weekend here and we adore this place so much. It’s so homey and rustic cabin feel right on the lake and we love that we can bring our pets and all spend so much time together outside. This place is a slice of paradise for me and my family!

Nice location on Lake Hartwell, however the property felt very much like a work in progress. The owner was extremely nice and quickly responded to any questions. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Nice house

Very nice house with a FANTASTIC location and view of the lake. Very pretty inside also, with a modern farmhouse feel. Lots of linens and towels were a plus, and the owner even provided soaps, shampoo, conditioner and dish soap, which is a real plus. Thanks!

Perfect in every way!

We absolutely loved this place! The fenced yard is huge and our dog was exploring every single inch. Not one squirrel was allowed on the premises. Planning a girls trip here in the future. The only thing I didn’t like was having to leave!

Absolute Paradise!

Our stay was absolutely incredible. The view from the cabin amazing, can’t say enough about it. The fenced in yard for our pups was a real blessing, made our stay hassle free. Contentment Cabin - a 'perfect' name!

My husband, dog (Sugar) and I had a wonderfully relaxing time at the Contentment Cabin. My favorite thing was the view from the porch. So many rentals, while nice, don't have the view that this one does! The cabin was spacious but cozy. Beds were comfortable and most of all the house was CLEAN! The kitchen was great ....we cooked the whole week...never left except for boating excursions. I would highly recommend.

Quiet Getaway

The cabin is perfect for a rustic getaway. There’s not alot to do in the area but we were there for quiet restful week. The cabin fit the bill. Fully stocked with everything you might need, but no closets. We usually hang our clothes for a week stay so was a bit surprising. The extra bedroom however allowed us to just lay our clothes out. I do not like living out of a suitcase for a week. It was very cold during our stay (one morning 21 degrees) we were a bit disappointed that the fireplace was not usable. It was shown in a few of the pictures in the listing but once there it has signs on it to not use. It was not listed in the amenities but the pictures did not show the do not use signs. All that being said we loved the cabin. I personally spent all my time while there sitting in the window seat it was beautiful morning, noon and night.Great communication with the owner! The large fenced yard provided great entertainment and exercise for our pups.

A hidden gem with a priceless view

This cabin was an absolute delight! It was the perfect mix of rustic and original mixed with modern amenities. It had such a cozy and warm feel from the moment you walked in. The bedrooms were extremely comfortable, the towels were phenomenal, the couches were comfortable. Everything was great. The cabin has a security system so those that are not familiar with the rustic environment could feel safe. There are plenty of lights and a gate outside to help keep wildlife in the appropriate areas. There was great firewood available along with a portable firepit. We ended up taking it down on the beach one of our nights and had a fire and chat by the water all night in the sand. All of the neighbors we interacted with were really great and friendly. The town is charming and you cannot beat the dock and view. Morning coffee on the deck and pier cannot be beat. We spent every night outside under the stars and moon and spent every morning out on the deck with coffee and the view. We wanted to get out of the city, find a place with no signal and enjoy the outdoors. If you are looking for the same, don't hesitate and just book this incredible spot. The owner is world class also! Very friendly, very quick to respond and you can tell it is just a good family that owns this space. Thank you Kimberly for opening your place for all of us to share in the memories. We will never forget our stay there and look forward to returning soon.

Family end of summer lake trip

We’ve been renting this little gem almost every year for the last 7 years and we look forward to coming here every year. Fantastic little lake house! Love that it’s dog friendly and easy lake access. Everything you need but with still the rustic charm!

Perfect Family Vacation!

We only did a short trip but absolutely loved it. The scenery is beautiful! We had a blast swimming in the lake, kayaking and grilling all while enjoying the view!! We got thunderstorms at night and we sat on the inside window bench watching the lightning light up the lake and woods. We will definitely be back for a longer trip next time. Thank you Kimberly!

Fantastic almost end of summer lake trip 2022

Our experience was excellent. We absolutely loved the house! The view through the windows, out on the deck and then down on the dock were magnificent. Our family spent almost every minute soaking in the summertime warm water. The house had all of the necessities for everything that we wanted to do. The internet connection was sufficient and allowed us to stay as minimally connected as we wished with the outside world. We loved the Contentment Cabin and hope to return!
