The Silliman House - A spectacular property that has just been entirely renovated, featuring vintage wood and beams from over 100 yrs ago. Style, comfort, technology, - nothing was overlooked when renovating this home. You will have more than enough space to relax, inside and out. The large living and dining room with a handmade farmhouse table, comfy couch, love seat and recliners, 65' ROKU TV, whole house Bluetooth speaker system, and tasteful décor will make it hard for you to leave. The coffee station in the kitchen will be perfect to get your morning started - enjoy a cup of coffee on the front or back porch - neither will disappoint.

Bedrooms are spacious and well-appointed, perfect for whatever combination of guests you will be bringing along. Your hosts have taken extreme care in the renovation and decoration process. From the moment you walk, you will understand what makes The Silliman House such a unique gem!

The rear deck is an oasis all on its own, with comfy outdoor furniture, a gas firepit for chilly nights and NEW in the fall of '23....a 55" SmartTV outside on the rear deck to catch and game while enjoying the fresh Upstate New York air!

Approximately 15 minutes to Cooperstown or Oneonta, The Silliman House is in a prime location for whatever it is that brings you to this great area. Colleges, baseball, breweries, art, theater - the Cooperstown area has so much to offer. The Silliman House was new to the rental market in 2022 and already has hosted many very happy guests!

NO pets allowed, including service animals, due to hosts' severe allergies.

Fabulous location- close to the fields- with a relaxing atmosphere for everyone.

Beautiful home, property & location

The Silliman House was the perfect home away from home for our family while our son played at Dreams Park. The owners have thought of everything and the home was impeccably clean and comfortable! Walking distance to Goodyear Lake and a short ride to the ballfields - couldn’t ask for anything more!

Amazing!

This was our first time incoming to All Star Village and staying at the Silliman House. Kelly and Phil were amazing hosts! The house is unbelievably clean and has everything you can need. Even things I did not think of to bring were provided in the house. We would give this house 10 stars if we could! We are coming back for my younger son next year and this will be the ONLY place we will stay! Highly recommend!

This rental was the perfect home base for our son's 12U Cooperstown trip—spotlessly clean, fully stocked with everything we needed, and hosted by the kindest, most accommodating people.

We had a wonderful experience staying at this rental house during our son’s 12U Cooperstown trip. The home was exceptionally clean, beautifully organized, and had everything we could have possibly needed—and then some! The hosts went above and beyond, greeting us warmly upon arrival, giving us a tour, and making sure we felt completely at home. They were kind, thoughtful, and incredibly accommodating. Pure Perfection!

If I could give this review 10 stars, I would! If you are looking for a clean, warm, and inviting space to really make Cooperstown the best trip ever, rent this house! The owners were so responsive and have literally thought of everything to make this house perfect! Wonderful Stay!

Beautiful home and property for our stay while our son played at Cooperstown. Very clean and has everything you will need for your visit. My family enjoyed the game room downstairs and watching deer from the deck. Would highly recommend for families coming to the Cooperstown area!

One of the very best short term rental properties we have ever stayed at

This property is so nicely done. The owners have such a good attention to detail. Notable features we appreciated were the amazing coffee bar, incredibly comfortable beds, large TVs, remodeled great room, outdoor fireplace, and fun game room downstairs. Location is also perfect. Close to Cooperstown and has a picture perfect lake nearby. This is one of the very best short term rental properties we have ever stayed in and we 100% recommend staying here!

Beautiful Home!

This was our first time in beautiful upstate NY and it did not disappoint! We were in town to watch our son play at Dreams Park and the house was perfect! The Silliman House was perfect! The hosts thought of every detail to make our stay wonderful. The house is very spacious and nicely decorated. Great stay!

We were in town for my son to play at Dreams Park. We have been to Cooperstown multiple times and this is by far the nicest rental we’ve ever had. The house is very nice and updated. It was extremely clean and neat. The owners were very accommodating. They communicated with us before our stay and during to make sure everything was ok. Overall it was just a fantastic stay.

Perfect home for our week at CDP

We had a wonderful stay at the Silliman House and would highly recommend it to anyone staying in the area. It was the perfect place to come home to each night while our son played at the Cooperstown Dream Park, which was a short, scenic 15 minute drive away. The house was beautifully renovated, clean, comfortable, and had absolutely everything we needed. We enjoyed Goodyear Lake, just around the corner, as well as the foosball table, air hockey, and arcade games at the house (the kids even got to be the first players on the new system in the kids’ bedroom!). The coffee bar was wonderful and we appreciated the to-go cups for early morning ball games! Phil and Kelly were the perfect hosts; welcoming and hospitable right from the start of our trip and had great communication throughout. If our younger sons are able to play at Cooperstown Dream Park in the future, we will be sure to book the Sillimon House again!!

Top notch stay with amazing amenities and super clean.

The house was so clean and nice with every amenity you could think of. Even the little details were not overlooked. Perfect for convenience and ease. The hosts were very thorough and nice from beginning to end. Very accommodating if we had any questions or needs. I would definitely recommend staying here and would stay here again. Great location, only 15 min from Cooperstown Dreams Park.

Perfect Gem!

Home owners Phil and Kelly were awesome and very welcoming. House was super clean with a well stocked kitchen. Location was great for visiting the Baseball Hall of Fame. Even though it rained all weekend, the home was well stocked with fun board games and the game room downstairs provided great family time! Thank you Phil and Kelly!

Perfect for a Group

We are a group of 6 woman that take an annual girls trip. This year we drove to the Silliman House and it was perfect for our needs. Perfect number of beds and plenty of space for us to sit around the table to eat/play games. The game room downstairs and wireless charging options through the house were great bonuses. Not to mention the owners met us at the home for a quick tour and they were nothing but nice and charming. Great proximity to local wineries and restaurants too. Would definitely stay here again if we ever find ourselves out that way again!

Amazing Home away from Home

The Silliman House was amazing from beginning to end. The comfort and amenities offered fulfilled all our needs and then some. Philip and Kelley were amazing hosts. They checked in on us regularly and were available any time of day to address any concerns and also offered insider suggestion for day activities and food options. They genuinely cared for our family’s experience at Cooperstown and we are looking for to the next time we can stay!

The Sillman Experience

When we arrived, power was out due to heavy snow on powerlines. The hosts Kelly and Phill Scrambled to Get the house on a generator, which was absolutely sufficient enough to make us comfortable. Everything in the house worked beautifully as it should and we enjoyed our stay to the fullest with great communication from the house.

Amazing

We had a wonderful time there! The property was just as described and the owners were so kind and very accommodating. One of the best stays we’ve ever had for a short term rental. Home was spacious and had lots of amenities available for us to access. Both parks were 15 minutes away so that was very convenient as well! Most restaurants and the Walmart are also very convienent my nearby as well. We really enjoyed our trip and hope to come back and stay at the Silliman House again when our 10 yr old comes to Cooperstown in 2 years.
