The Silliman House - A spectacular property that has just been entirely renovated, featuring vintage wood and beams from over 100 yrs ago. Style, comfort, technology, - nothing was overlooked when renovating this home. You will have more than enough space to relax, inside and out. The large living and dining room with a handmade farmhouse table, comfy couch, love seat and recliners, 65' ROKU TV, whole house Bluetooth speaker system, and tasteful décor will make it hard for you to leave. The coffee station in the kitchen will be perfect to get your morning started - enjoy a cup of coffee on the front or back porch - neither will disappoint.

Bedrooms are spacious and well-appointed, perfect for whatever combination of guests you will be bringing along. Your hosts have taken extreme care in the renovation and decoration process. From the moment you walk, you will understand what makes The Silliman House such a unique gem!

The rear deck is an oasis all on its own, with comfy outdoor furniture, a gas firepit for chilly nights and NEW in the fall of '23....a 55" SmartTV outside on the rear deck to catch and game while enjoying the fresh Upstate New York air!

Approximately 15 minutes to Cooperstown or Oneonta, The Silliman House is in a prime location for whatever it is that brings you to this great area. Colleges, baseball, breweries, art, theater - the Cooperstown area has so much to offer. The Silliman House was new to the rental market in 2022 and already has hosted many very happy guests!

NO pets allowed, including service animals, due to hosts' severe allergies.

Wonderful Stay!

Beautiful home and property for our stay while our son played at Cooperstown. Very clean and has everything you will need for your visit. My family enjoyed the game room downstairs and watching deer from the deck. Would highly recommend for families coming to the Cooperstown area!

No detail overlooked!

The Silliman House was perfect! The hosts thought of every detail to make our stay wonderful. The house is very spacious and nicely decorated. We loved the coffee bar in the kitchen and the fun video games in the basement. The outdoor deck and firepit area were also wonderful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would rent this house again.

Silliman Home Away from Home

Superior customer service. Very helpful and quick response with answering questions. The house is beautiful. Really enjoyed the Christmas decor through out the home. Arcade was great for game night. 10/10

Perfect Gem!

Home owners Phil and Kelly were awesome and very welcoming. House was super clean with a well stocked kitchen. Location was great for visiting the Baseball Hall of Fame. Even though it rained all weekend, the home was well stocked with fun board games and the game room downstairs provided great family time! Thank you Phil and Kelly!

Perfect for a Group

We are a group of 6 woman that take an annual girls trip. This year we drove to the Silliman House and it was perfect for our needs. Perfect number of beds and plenty of space for us to sit around the table to eat/play games. The game room downstairs and wireless charging options through the house were great bonuses. Not to mention the owners met us at the home for a quick tour and they were nothing but nice and charming. Great proximity to local wineries and restaurants too. Would definitely stay here again if we ever find ourselves out that way again!

The Sillman Experience

When we arrived, power was out due to heavy snow on powerlines. The hosts Kelly and Phill Scrambled to Get the house on a generator, which was absolutely sufficient enough to make us comfortable. Everything in the house worked beautifully as it should and we enjoyed our stay to the fullest with great communication from the house.

Perfect Cooperstown Baseball Family Home

We had an amazing experience staying here. Perfect place to come back from ASV (short drive) and recharge in between games and unwind after games. Everything is super clean, organized, stocked and cozy and inviting. The hosts are super on top of everything and welcoming. Beautiful deck and backyard to BBQ and 5 minute walk to Goodyear Lake siblings to swim or fish. There’s also a fun game room too for kids and Dads to hangout. 5 minutes away from post office, grocery stores & gas stations. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful place with us!

Wonderful Stay in a Beautiful Home!

We had the pleasure of spending a wonderful week at the Silliman House in July 2024. The home is beautiful and looks just like the pictures. The hosts are amazing and very responsive to any questions or concerns. The amenities for kids are amazing, from the game room in the basement to plenty of games in the bunk room. They really thought of everything in the home, even providing to-go coffee cups and skewers to roast marshmallows over the fire pit! The home is very centrally located, being a quick 15 minute drive to Dreams Park and a 10 minute drive to Oneonta. We highly recommend this home to future visitors to the area!

Amazing!

This was our first time incoming to All Star Village and staying at the Silliman House. Kelly and Phil were amazing hosts! The house is unbelievably clean and has everything you can need. Even things I did not think of to bring were provided in the house. We would give this house 10 stars if we could! We are coming back for my younger son next year and this will be the ONLY place we will stay! Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful experience staying at this rental house during our son’s 12U Cooperstown trip. The home was exceptionally clean, beautifully organized, and had everything we could have possibly needed—and then some! The hosts went above and beyond, greeting us warmly upon arrival, giving us a tour, and making sure we felt completely at home. They were kind, thoughtful, and incredibly accommodating. Pure Perfection!

If I could give this review 10 stars, I would! If you are looking for a clean, warm, and inviting space to really make Cooperstown the best trip ever, rent this house! The owners were so responsive and have literally thought of everything to make this house perfect! We knew our boys were going to have the best week of their life playing at Dreamspark, and this beautiful house helped the moms have ours! We couldn’t have asked for anything more!
