Beautiful Location, but the Rooms and Customer Service Need Improvement
Paradise Point Resort & Spa is a decent property with a beautiful setting, but unfortunately, the overall experience fell short of expectations.
The property itself is showing its age, and the rooms are in serious need of updating. Our room had what appeared to be black mold, electrical outlets coming loose from the walls, and several pieces of old, outdated furniture. For a resort at this price point, I expected much better maintenance and accommodations.
What was especially disappointing was the customer service. Once the staff confirmed that our reservation had been made through a third-party booking site, they seemed much less willing to assist or accommodate our requests. Regardless of how a guest books their stay, everyone should receive the same level of hospitality.
On a positive note, the housekeeping team did a great job whenever we needed their services. Their efforts were genuinely appreciated.
Overall, Paradise Point has a lot of potential, but the dated accommodations, maintenance concerns, and lack of accommodating customer service really detracted from our stay. With some much-needed renovations and a greater emphasis on guest satisfaction, this could be a wonderful resort. Unfortunately, based on our experience, I would have a hard time recommending it at its current price point.
