Peaceful place close to Etna

We stayed a couple of days and had great recommendations from the staff on where to eat and what to do. Lovely, big garden and a nice swimming pool. A lot of things to do and explore for our 3 year old son.

A hidden gem.

We just adored our three day stay here. The garden is amazing and it’s so peaceful. We would come back if/when we go Sicily again. :-) Very friendly hosts and nice breakfast. We absolutely recommend this place.

Beautiful and charming accommodation, a bit antique but very well taken care of. The bed was a bit hard. The trees, gardens and pool offer a super nice refuge from the Sicilian summer temperatures. Nice staff. We had a late check in and they were very accommodating.

The property is in a residential area. Big gate and on the post , a small signage of the hotel’s name. We spoke to someone on the intercom at the gate, the gate then opens. The property has a rustic charm. Some reviews we’ve read mentioned that the property needs renovation or updates. We think they don’t, it’s part of the charm (for us anyway, who are just visiting Italy). We only stayed for one night so didn’t get to use their swimming pool but it looks okay and romantic in the evening. Room was clean. The free breakfast consisted of breads, 1 type of cold cuts, 1 type of cheese, preserves and drinks -juices, coffee,tea. Within walking distance from the hotel is Coop grocery, Deli Shop and a restaurant. There could be more but we didn’t walk further. We enjoyed our short stay.

Great Retreat!

Quiet private clean rural environment only 2 blocks from restaurants, market, ATM. Amazing property with plants, sculptures, animals. Secure free parking.

Un espace calme et agréable

Un hôtel-appartement très agréable, propre et calme, à l'abris de l'agitation de la ville. Le petit déjeuner inclus est un vrai plus, le personnel est sympatique. Le jardin est agréable à visiter et découvrir. La piscine bien que froide pendant notre séjour était propre et il était agréable de passer du temps sur les chaises longues autour. Deux points négatifs cependant : - l'odeur d'humidité bien que tout soit très propre. - les moustiques malgré les moustiquaires. Nous avons dû acheter un diffuseur de produit anti-moustiques pour surporter les nuits. Je recommande.

Hébergement dans un très beau cadre de verdure.

Magnifique parc bien que laissé à l'état un peu sauvage (mais nous on aime bien). Petite maisonnette individuelle très agréable. Petit déjeuner complet et bien bon, servi soit à l' extérieur, soit en terrasse selon la météo. Accueil un peu froid et très rapide.

Oase inmitten des sizilianischen Trubels

Eine Location nicht von dieser Welt. Das Tor geht auf und man ist inmitten des botanischen Gartens. Unglaublich schön. Wir hatten 2 unterschiedliche Zimmer und beide waren echt besonders.

Ho soggiornato con la mia famiglia a luglio. Eravamo in tre ma la dotazione nell’appartamento non era sufficiente per tutti. cucina presente ma non attrezzata: stoviglie non sufficienti, non c’era olio, ne sale, caffè, mancavano tovagliame, detersivi, tutto. Personale/proprietari inesistenti, colazione con personale assente (nessuna possibilità di richiedere un caffè espresso o altro). Non so se è questa la prassi o se sia stato così perché abbiamo soggiornato nel weekend. La domenica infatti ci è sembrato di essere stati totalmente abbandonati. Il personale delle pulizie quando incontrato comunque sono stati sempre gentili e disponibili. È un vero peccato perché la struttura è grande, bella e ha del potenziale. Purtroppo poco curata. La zona piscina è un angolo di pace.

Ma pire expérience de séjour. Lorsque nous sommes arrivés sur place, l’hôte nous a expliqué en quelques mots le fonctionnement du petit-déjeuner et du portail puis lorsque je me suis retourné, celle-ci avait disparue sans avoir eu le temps de lui poser mes questions. Par rapport à la chambre, celle-ci était délabrée et insalubre : mur qui s’effrite, moisissures et sur des prises électriques ! Le ménage est totalement négligé : poussières,saletés,eau dans la bouilloire, lit avec des cendres. Nous avons dû également éteindre le frigo à cause du bruit assourdissant ainsi que l’air conditionné. Je n’ai jamais dormi sur un matelas d’une telle piètre qualité et les oreillers tellement fins que nous pensions à en acheter. Quant à la salle de bain, la robinetterie était pleine de calcaire et les murs sales: taches, salissures,… Enfin,le petit-déjeuner était médiocre et de mauvaise qualité (jus industriel, café en thermos,…). Finalement, à la moitié du séjour, nous avons préférés quitter ce lieu tout en prévenant la veille et le jour du départ de cela. Mais personne n’était disponible et on m’a demandé de laisser la clef dans la boîte aux lettres. Il est dommage que l’hôte ne se remette pas en question quand à l’état de cette chambre et refuse bien évidemment une compensation pour mon départ anticipé suite à l’insalubrité. Peut-être que la chambre double supérieure est la pire de toutes en lisant les commentaires… Mais ne négligez pas les autres avis négatifs comme nous…

Un havre de sérénité

Jouxtant l'Eglise Ste Trinité, dans cette bourgade au pied de l'Etna, les quelques hébergements disséminés dans le beau jardin ont une âme. Bons équipements (réfrigérateur, vaisselles, bbc....) Très belle piscine, très ombragée. Les personnels sont prévenants et monsieur excellent pâtissier ! Excellent rapport qualité/prix
