"Several issues impacted the experience and thus the value. Key access instructions overly complicated. The unit was cold upon arrival and took until 6-8hrs to hit room temp. The knob on the bedroom baseboard heater control was broken and a throw-blanket draped the baseboard behind the sofa. Glad we caught it. The TV's would not stay connected due to wifi signal issues. Reset router and TVs- no deal. Unable to utilize the TVs. The sofa is ready for heavy trash pickup, the cushions sinking into the sofabed framing. The bedroom blind toggles were out of reach to make adjustments- we enjoyed the outside ambiant light all night. Finally- the bath towels smelled like stale cigarette smoke, noticable using just out of the shower. Overall - not a great experience if you have basic expectations at this level of rental. "

"This is our second stay at Midgarth, and hopefully not our last. The listing is accurate. It has plenty of room for our family of five to comfortably hang out during our visit to Leadville and Ski Cooper. The kitchen is well stocked, the beds are comfortable, there are ceiling fans in all of the bedrooms, drip coffee maker as well as a machine that will take K-cups, which is appreciated. The location is convenient and we thoroughly enjoyed it all! "

"The place is full of cobwebs, shower drain was slow enough that the tub was filling up slowly, and the chair in the front room is broken with the seat portion sitting in the floor. The heat was all or nothing, but it’s a very old building and only so much you can do about that. I won’t hold it against you too much. "
