10-15 minute walk to the historic center of Matera. The owner is extremely helpful and professional. Communication was excellent. The room is clean, spacious, and comfortable. All the amenities you could ask for. Also, in a safe neighborhood with plenty of parking.

This place was great! Francesco and Danilo were very responsive. Super clean, comfortable place, great location, quiet, safe neighborhood. Easy to get in and out of, short walk to everything. The coffee machine makes great coffee! What a beautiful city, I took so many pictures! Perfect for me, highly recommended.

Our host was fantastic and very helpful. He gave us restaurant suggestions and a map of how to get to the Old Town. (Which was breathtaking!!!!)

Even though when we arrived there was no water due to a water main break. The whole city of Matera was out. Our host was amazing and brought us so much water. It was a tad inconvient but we made it work. Beautiful place. Excellent location.

Very stylish and comfortable apartment, good location, about 15min walk into the Sassi area of Matera. Was super quiet our first night. Unfortunately the guests in the other suite were quite noisy outside the second night. We were forced to close our windows to get to sleep before midnight. Overall very pleased with accommodations.

Franceso was amazing. His BnB is everything you could hope fore, extremely clean, quirky and an espresso machine! He is very kind and a fountain of information.you can walk to downtown at a leisurely pace and be there in 15 minutes. We would definiteiystay again if we return t Matera and will recommend our friends an family yo Francesco.

I cannot say enough about how wonderful the stay was at this charming and beautiful place. Clean, beautiful, maintained with loving care and an artist touch. Francesco was helpful to make sure we had our bearings with a map and instructions about the city. . He and his wife are amazing hosts. He speaks English as well as Italian. Please if you book take care of his sweet home and only come with the people you actually made a resurvation for. Because they respect honesty. No trying to reserve 2 and bring 3 you will need to pay for all who come. But then you will have a wonderful stay. We really did. And saw the amazing city.

非常滿意的住宿！整體非常乾淨，空間寬敞。走路去老城約15-20分鐘，去巴士站總站約15分鐘。 附近是住宅區，公園晚上都有人在那聚會聊天，晚上走路回家很安全。 Host 很熱情健談！對 Matera 的印象太好了！希望有機會再訪！

정말 좋아요.

마테라 광장쪽에서 약간의 거리가 있지만 주차가 가능하고 주방이 있어 선택했어요. 최근 이용후기가 없어서 걱정했는데 정말 좋았어요. 주인분이 아주 친절하시고(커피머신 사용법도 시범보여주심) 청결 최상급, 캡슐커피, 과자, 인테리어..주방 물품 등 ... 정말 마음에 들었어요. 마테라에 간다면 또 머물고 싶어요. 겨울이라 방이 살짝 추웠는데 이불도 여러겹으로 세팅되어 있어서 침대는 아늑했어요. 캡슐커피 아주 맛있어요. 주차는 근처에 문제없이 가능했어요. 헤어 컨디셔너, 칫솔 세트는 없으니 준비해 가세요.

Excellent place!

We stayed 1 night and it was incredible. Matera is beautiful and Casa dell Artista make it better. Clean, comfortable and spacious. In a safe neighborhood. The parking is free and in front of the apartment. Nice decoration and well equiped apartment. Danilo is a wonderful Host with great service. If you are coming to Matera this hotell Is the place to be. 10 minutes Walking to Sassi Matera and the supermarket is 2 blocks from the place. For sure we are coming back here! Great place and great owner!
