Amazing room (had room with jacuzzi), nice staff. Would be nice if they have free shuttle, because it's forbidden to go by car to the hotel. For taxi they charging 15eur

We absolutely loved our stay. Very attentive before our arrival, arranging our parking and shuttle to the hotel. Once at the hotel the staff was so kind and friendly and offered recommendations. The room itself was better than expected and the buffet breakfast had a great selection. Best of all, it was quiet at night allowing us to actually get a good nights sleep.

Beautiful boutique hotel in Matera

Beautiful property. Rooms with an extraordinary view. Shower is amazing and the bed very comfortable. The private spa is super cool. Delicious breakfast. We had an amazing stay and hope to be back one day. Thanks to Ivana, Samir and Mario for a wonderful experience at Cenobio hotel.

Beautiful Cave Room

Beautiful room, set in a cave. Very clean. Free continental breakfast was excellent. All staff especially Samir and Mario were excellent to deal with and very helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

Damiano and Samir were so wonderful and helped us have a fantastic stay. Very communicative and helpful. The hotel is clean, beautiful, and peaceful. Breakfast is fresh and tasty. And the shower was amazing!

Fantastic hotel

We had an incredible stay here. The staff were so helpful and very responsive. Damiano is an asset to the hotel. We stayed in the room with a terrace , the terrace is large and had the most wonderful view. We made use of the private spa and massages which was an amazing experience. The hotel is a short walk ( down quite a few steps) from the main part of the old town. Quiet at night but close to all the sites. Would highly recommend.

Best location, rooms and staff amazing !

Fantastic place to stay! Great price! Beautiful view! Amazing Room & staff especially Mario , fantastic personality, helpful , who greeted us at the top of the stairs where the taxi dropped us off & carried our luggage down 80 steps to our room. Breakfast offered was so good with fresh bakery goods and yummy cappuccino. Come to this hotel, it is next door to the sextantio where our friends stayed and struggled with lighting in their rooms. Say hi to Mario!

Nice place, beautiful rooms, great breakfast and charming staff. Some issues with the bed, which was resolved but could have been with better quality. AC unit was ok but not cooling to the degree we expected it to and the internet connection fairly poor during the two days of our stay.
