"Beautiful property. Amazing staff and Management. The Pasta (Spaghetti with Anchovy Cherry Tomatoes and Basile), Lamb Chops and Negroamaro Wine at the onsite Restaurant was exceptional. Looking forward to a return trip"
"Beautiful agriturismo/masseria, nice big comfortable room. The restaurant is great, all the food sourced from the farm, from the wines to olive oil to wheat for the bread. The grounds are nice to walk around. The owners were really nice."
"My husband and I stayed at the Palazzo for 7 nights and had a wonderful experience throughout. Before we even arrived Salvatore was responsive with messages and arranging our late check in.
He greeted us as soon as we arrived in the car and showed us to a parking space directly outside the property.
The masseria is stunning and the rooms are very unique! My first thought was, is this a museum or a hotel!? It was marvellous.
The 200 year old family artifacts throughout the room and the rest...
"This is an excellent place to stay in Calimera. The property is perfectly located in the center, steps away from the old town square where you’ll find great cafes, pastry shops and restaurants. Necessities like the supermarket, bank, pharmacy are all a short walk away as well. The property itself is very clean, quiet and well-managed. It’s the perfect place to rest in between day trips. The hosts are excellent: gracious, responsive and accomodating. 10 out of 10, highly recommended!"

Villa Lucrezio - Cutrofiano
8/10 Good
"Highly recommend Villa Lucrezia for a large group (17 in our group) on a relative budget. Situated just outside the town of Cutrofiano, the drive is no more than 30 minute from major attractions, like Lecce, Gallipoli, Ostuni, and Castro. Cutrofiano is a charming town with several restaurants, a Michelin star resort, wine tasting, and a wonderful coffee shop, Mata Hari, where we had the pleasure of chatting with the owner, many locals, and friendly expats. The property offers an impeccably clean pool, but the kitchen is a little rustic, so cooking will be a challenge if you plan to prepare your own meals.Property manager Emi and her staff went above and beyond to help us book day trips and drivers. Emi and Melina also prepared delicious homemade pasta (orecchiette) and other local Pugliese specialties, while accommodating vegan and nut free restrictions. Can't speak highly enough about them. The owner resides on the premises so you will not have exclusive access to the property. This can be helpful if you need some guidance on places to visit. "
"The highlight here is the pool.. One can properly swim due to length of the pool although it’s not particularly deep ( metre j. The pool and the pond area are well kept. A caretaker cleans the pool virtually every day. He is even gracious enough to do this between 6 and 7 a.m, for minimum intrusion which was much appreciated. The house itself is fairly basic but it was pretty clean and showers worked well. Kitchen equipment was plentiful. We are keen cooks & perhaps some of the pans are ready for an upgrade. Lots of crockery was available. Fridge was large and worked well. Bedrooms are airy and despite high temperatures, we managed without using air-con. Mosquito nets are throughout. You pay separately for electricity. Having not used air con, the bill for two was about 15 euros per day. Personally I do see this separation of energy consumption costs as an unnecessary policy and a bit of a niggle. Having said that, we noted that Wow homes run everything efficiently and with friendly informality. The paperwork was not too onerous and communication via WhatsApp is maintained in a responsive manner. The location always felt safe. Nearby villages all have atmospheric central areas. Sogliano has a decent supermarket and a fantastic fish shop ( pescheria Azzura). Galatina market on Thursday was a highlight for us though we could take or leave the town. Corigliano and Mariano are lovely. Our overall experience was positive and we would certainly stay at this house again. "
