"Perfect stay"

"Lovely resort, incredibly family friendly. Kids club is great if child is over 3 years old. Very relaxing stay, only downside is beach is quite rocky compared to others visited in Crete, but you can always use the pool. "

From start to finish, every detail was considered, and every need was taken care of. The team is welcoming and kind, and the location is absolutely stunning. While visiting with my partner (our kids left at home), we were keenly aware of how family-friendly the resort is, a pro for the many happy groups around us. If you plan to visit in May as we did, know the water will be fresh (!), and private pools might be too chilly to truly enjoy - though they'll still offer the perfect backdrop for some of the best photos you may ever take! "A fortunate 1 week all inclusive stay here right before the prices went up in May on the beautiful island of Crete was a good choice. Only 20 or so minutes from Heraklion Airport, checked in with friendly staff and loaded onto a buggy with luggage to our sea view room. The views are spectacular from the room and most of the resort which in itself is visually stunning. Room was large with lots of storage, comfy bed, fantastic shower, minibar with some free soft drinks, water and snacks. Cleaned very well every day. It’s high end here, looks immaculate and is ‘Disney’ spotlessly clean everywhere. Lots of pools, some quieter than others with sunbeds and towel pools from your room. Towels are changeable from the pools. The hotel is large, well set out and spacious. All inclusive is plus plus. You can eat or drink somewhere 24 hours a day/night. You will never be far from the nearest bar/snacks. The main restaurant is plentiful with lots of options, all served to you from behind a glass counter. Most servers are great but one was intent on providing sub baby portions! Some options attract larger queues. But the food/drink is of a high standard. Waiters bring the drinks and are highly efficient and the floor manager is very friendly and helpful."

"We just got back from Crete. The Royal Belvedere Resort offers various pools, dining and recreation options for couples and families. We really went for the Olympic 50 meter swimming pool. We swim laps and this was a challenge as our regular pool is 25 meters. Also we went a little off season. Food was good and plenty of it. We also took a taxi to the Old Hersonissos village and walked back. My wife had a great time shopping by the beach area shops. We will go back."

"Old resort needs a bit construction We got the royal vila room The bathroom wasnt good We had no phone line in the room to call reception so we had to go all the time Never fixed even i asked 4 times The bathroom they fixed after the second day Food was so so.. iv seen beter in other hotels The hotel is big and far from any place to go "
