"Hello, just wanted to share with you all that my experience with the entire team at Hotel Playa Mazatlán was incredible! From the start when we got to the gates the guards were so nice but very meticulous with security ( that was a huge piece of mind) then the lobby staff are amazing and it was cool sooo a huge plus too! Than the bell boy and the rooms,the room cleaning staff as well as the pool and restaurant's staff were amazing and the FOOD, the FOOD IS DELICIOUS!! Literally music, games or shows every single night! I recommend 100% without a doubt! I will come back next year with more family. Kathia Lopez "

"I had a great time during my extended stay. The staff were fantastic whenever I needed something or even just to greet me and check if I needed anything. The hotel is right across from the Malecon which is awesome to walk or jog in the mornings and evenings . There's a nice Starbucks within a 4 min walk and other restaurants. The Free breakfast was great too. So refreshing to have breakfast facing the ocean.. they have a little kiosk downstairs where you can buy soft drinks and snacks..it was very convenient. The Free coffee and tea in the lobby area was a bonus. Overall, I had an excellent experience and they even called me a taxi to the airport. Felt super safe and comfortable. Looking forward to coming back... "

"Everything was 100% clean and as advertised. The view is out of this world! Most of all, Nancy was very responsive and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed for a most special stay. And if you have the opportunity to go on one of Nancy's excusrions on the boat or paddleboard, I highly recommend the experience! "

"Excellent location. Many restaurants nearby as well as grocery and convenience stores. Malecon can be quite loud at times but beautiful. "

"This was an absolutely amazing place to stay for the week. It was our first trip to Mazatlan, and I loved every moment of it. Two things for those interested. First, set your expectations on sound.... This apartment is right on the beach and right on the main avenue. This will provide you with incredible sunsets and views of the water (we saw whales the first day!), but the tradeoff means that on the weekends, you're going to have a lot of noise from the avenue and the malecon. It'll keep you awake. That said, by the second night, I'd mostly acclimated, and enjoyed the sounds of the city. There can also be some noise off the pool area as families and other guests enjoy the area. The other thing - and this one was the most annoying - was that there is only one key provided for the apartment. That key is the only way in and out of the building, the only way to access the lobby and lounge area, and the only way in and out of the apartment. It's not the end of the world, but if you're traveling with a few others, it can be a challenge. I'd definitely advise the host to provide a second key. All that said, though, what an incredible place to enjoy Mazatlan from. There is an OXXO, liquor store, coffee shop, within a few hundred meters/yards of the entrance. And the food nearby is absolutely amazing! Last, I'd also suggest talking with Richard at the front desk (in the lobby area) about tours and any transportation you need. He took our experiences to another level!"
