This brand new one bedroom / one bath modern shipping container home is nestled on 5 acres of private property and offers 3 large French doors, high ceilings, and lots of windows for a spacious and modern feel. it is perfect for a romantic couple's getaway.

Step from your tranquil and cozy bedroom suite onto the private deck where you can enjoy a relaxing evening soaking in the 3-person Hot tub while taking in the stunning night sky or stroll over to the tasting room at Le Petit Chevalier vineyard and winery right next door. Spend the day kayaking, canoeing, swimming, or fishing on lake Logan (34 min. drive) or lake hope(24 min. drive)

Only 10 minutes to Ash Cave, 19 minutes to Old Mans Cave, 23 minutes to Hocking Hills State Park, 15 minutes to Cedar Falls, 20 minutes to Zaleski State forest and just a short drive to many other outdoor excursions that Hocking Hills and Vinton county has to offer.

Clean, quiet and a good location. Hosts did a great job stocking anything that might be needed, especially enjoyed the board games during the rain. Husband wants to move into a shipping container now, lol.

Relaxing getaway

We enjoyed staying in this lovely property for a weekend getaway. The space is clean, cozy, and perfect for relaxing. The hot tub was a great way to spend the evening looking at the stars! The check-out process was very easy as well. Overall, the perfect place to spend the weekend.

What a fun place to stay! It is beautifully decorated, has a comfortable bed and lots of little extras. It was a private spot close to hiking! Hocking Hills is BEAUTIFUL! We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you for being such great hosts.

Lovely Container Home

We spent a four-day weekend at this property and enjoyed it very much. The place is well appointed, clean and comfortable. The hosts were very accommodating and great at communication - we sent a couple of questions before our stay and they promptly responded. Check in and out was a breeze.

Loved the coziness of our get away!!

This place had everything and more!! Only thing would be an awning on the patio so we can sit outside and enjoy all the seasons:) Otherwise-perfect for a quick get away!! Definitely will be back;)

The property is very clean. The owners pay attention to small details that are very convenient. Well supplied coffe/tea area, plenty of bathroom amentities, firewood available for purchase, plenty of storage and organization available in bedroom for clothing, etc.

Very nice and cozy

Love the decor and coziness of the house. It seemed to have all the things needed, except a stove. We also love the proximity to the winery which was an amazing experience. The only downside of the location was that it was right by a somewhat busy road. At time there were very loud cars and trucks driving by at all times of the day and night. Thank you again for the wonderful stay and the easy check in process.

Anniversary getaway weekend

We loved your small home! We can tell that you put a lot of thought into the design and comfort of your place to provide us with a memorable experience for our anniversary. It's very clean and beautifully designed and furnished for a small home. The only cons that we would say that we had was not really having a lot of privacy from the road and not having control over the security light so that we could star gaze. Other than that we had such a nice and relaxing weekend. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you, again for such a wonderful weekend!

Perfect Getaway!

This house was exactly what we were looking for. We wanted to explore Hocking Hills and this property was a short drive to all the spots. An added bonus was the super close proximity of a market with a great food truck and a cute little winery. The container house was cute and in immaculate condition.

Had the best stay this past week! The homemade beautiful, the property is peaceful, the owners were amazing to work with. Le Petit Chev is a great winery open right down the road, a definite check out! Super close to Ash Cave, Rock House and Old Man’s. Loved our time there! Thank you!

The house was very cute and nice. The only downside was there were ants all in the kitchen when we got there and we had trouble with them the whole stay. Also the hot tub water was very nasty but other than that we had a great time and stay!

Husband & wife short getaway

My wife and I wanted to get away and celebrate the 20th anniversary of our 1st date, which was May 8th of 2005. This place was perfect. It was clean, and the location was great. For me, the fact it was beside a church and graveyard simply added to the charm. There is also a nice country store across the way, and a winery a short distance up the road. The hosts thought of everything, having pretty much anything a person would need on site. I've never stayed in a place where so much thought and care was shown by the hosts in making sure guests like ourselves had everything we needed to make our stay as comfortable and convenient as possible. Easily 5 stars, and we would not hesitate to stay here again. Thank you so much for being part of a positive, memorable experience.

Great get away

Perfect get away while visiting Hocking Hills State Park. Very clean and well stocked. Winery and market with ice cream within short walking distance. Great place to relax after an eight mile adventure.

Adorable and clean shipping container home!

Great, cozy place to stay! Very clean and had all the necessities. Hot tub is a great addition. About 20 min from Hocking Hills State Park and the popular hiking trails.
