Clean, quiet, and so peaceful!
We had a wonderful stay at this vacation home this past weekend! It was very clean, lots of space, and a cozy wood burning stove to keep us warm ☺️ I wish we could have had a more extended stay but I know where I’ll be the next time I go to the Mt Shasta area!

Sweet location to Mt. Shasta
This place was perfect for our ski trip to Mt. Shasta. It under 20 min to the hill. The house was fully stocked even with an instant pot. The three bathroom was a plus with two family’s. We had plenty of room for all of us. We will most definitely stay here again. Abril

Cozy home for families
The house is cozy and clean. The owner was responsive. We never got the WiFi to work but not for lack of trying by the owner. The beds were comfortable. Overall, a nice place to stay in McCloud.

High expectations…neighbors don’t like this being a VRBO
We had high expectations for paying a premium price especially during the off season. It was close to our event. There was plenty of wood for the wood fireplace. But…The property needs maintenance: the lock box sticks, tiles missing in ‘Master’ bath, door on second downstairs bath doesn’t fully open (warped floor), light in closet non-functional, oven broiler didn’t work, all of the door locks are installed upside down, fence boards falling off side yard, neighbors blocked alley access the entire weekend, broken glass behind garage… Other than that, a great place to sleep and have coffee in the morning.

Second Stay
This was our second stay at this house. We enjoyed ourselves both in the summer and in the winter. There is plenty of room for three families. The house was clean for both visits. We had 7 adults and 2 teens and plenty of room. We hope to stay there again.

Cozy and convenient
We loved the coziness and location of this home. All of these houses are older which we love but this one has updates in great ways, such as newer showers, WiFi, good water pressure and comfortable beds and bedding.

Lovely place to stay!
We went to McCloud to ski at Mt. Shasta Ski Park. The home was lovely with comfortable beds, fully stocked kitchen and really everything to make the stay enjoyable. I would definitely stay here again.

McCloud Home

Great spot near Mt Shasta
Really lovely family home for our holiday ski weekend. Our first time to Mt Shasta and McCloud and Loved the area with historic downtown. We hiked to the various falls on the McCloud river and well worth it!

The facilities and location were perfect for our needs. The house is close to a park, has a fenced back yard, has two living areas (one for adults and one for kids), and has a kitchen and table that accommodated our group of ten. The owner was very easy to communicate with.

Comfortable home for a group near Shasta
This is a comfortable and very clean home that is an ideal place for a family or group of friends needing 9 beds and it has an enclosed backyard and is pet friendly. The only minor quibbles were the lack of plastic bags and paper supplies, and the grill which really was not at all easy to use. Also, The three rollaway beds would not be comfortable for anyone except perhaps a child.

Visited for just a couple nights with 2 young kids, we all hope we’ll have the opportunity to return with another family post- COVID! Rooms were very generously proportioned, very well stocked kitchen, great covered & private back patio and parking, took full advantage of soaking in the big downstairs tub!

The house was perfect! Spacious, clean, comfortable. Great location. Everyone loved the wood burning stove. The beds were very comfortable. The teens loved the Wii. John was an excellent host. Easy to communicate with, flexible, friendly. We will definitely return.

Great Spot For Groups!
The house was great for our group for the weekend. It is roomy and has everything you need for your stay. The only bummer was that some of the roll away beds are locked up and you need a code to get them open (this was specified in the check in instructions ahead of time, but I didn't think about it until it was too late, so it was my fault not the owner). So just be sure to get the code ahead of time! The location of the property is in such a great place! It was just a short walk to the park which was awesome! Definitely a great house for a group!

Beautiful home in great location!
We loved staying at the Mt. Shasta Vacation home and only wished that our stay could have been longer. We received prompt, clear, and friendly communications from the owner. The home was clean, spacious, comfortable, and had all of the amenities and items we wanted. The kitchen was well stocked, the water pressure and water temperature (we never ran out of hot water) were great, and the mattresses were comfortable. We also appreciated having plenty of toilet paper and paper towels on-hand when we arrived. The enclosed yard was great for our dog and having both front and back entry/access was helpful. We had a fun time exploring the local neighborhood and the nearby park, as well as the many rivers, lakes and hikes in the area. Our kids also rode bikes all over town. We had a wonderful time and would love to come back again and stay at this lovely home. Thank you!

Great location if you are planning ning to explore Shasta, McCloud and Burney. The house had all the amenities for a comfortable stay. We were a group of 10 with little fellows!!! Location is good for kids
House location is nice if you have a dog or kids, there is a large park close by for them to play. You can walk or ride bikes to town for breakfast at White Mountain. The house is a bit dark and could use upgraded lighting.

Very Comfortable Stay
I had wonderful interactions with the property manager John, and we truly enjoyed our stay at this house. The house is cozy and perfect for our entire crew to get away for a skiing vacation on Mt. Shasta. Plenty of space for everybody, nobody felt cramped and it was nice to have full use of a kitchen to make breakfast instead of having to go out to eat for all of our meals.
