"We were there for a weekend because of a wedding nearby. We had a great time, wished we stayed a bit longer. Never got a chance to use the game room, but the swimming pool was great! Beds for everyone, although it would have been nicer to have some more queens than doubles. Some minor quirks encountered - no shampoo, although listed, and no baking sheets for the oven. The property is serene and we enjoyed morning coffee on the deck facing the lake. On our drives to and from the venue we encountered a bear, red tailed hawk, wild turkeys, and deer. Would definitely stay again!"

"This is a decent motel, clean and quiet. It is also dog friendly which was important to me. There was no hair dryer in the room, so had to get one at the front desk. An overall ok motel for the price. I would stay again if in the area."

"We had such a lovely stay over Mother’s Day weekend. The house was tidy and clean, and a nice amount of toys and coloring books for kids, which was thoughtful. Very spacious, and perfect for the rainy day when we weren’t able to go outside. It was a beautiful acreage to take walks and not noisy even though we were a hop and a skip off the main highway. We would definitely recommend booking this spot for a getaway with friends, and we’re already dreaming of returning on our next trip to the area! "

"The house was very lovely. Very private, very isolated, absolute peace and quiet. Just be a little cautious when driving on the property; especially when it snowed. Perfect weekend getaway. House was spacious and pleasant. Firewood was easy to access; just a little walking but it’s not bad. Host were fast to respond with anything. The house has basic necessities such as cookware and ingredients. House can be cold when entering. Heating set up is easy. Just let it warm up a while. Directions for what to do when leaching were straightforward. Highly recommend this house for a private getaway."
