"My husband and I needed a relaxing weekend and we had not seen some friends in awhile. They suggested to meet at the Mckenzie River and find a place to rent where we can cook, play board games, and just catch up! We found this cabin and it exceeded our expectations. We were near the river and can hear the relaxing stream. The cabin was fully equipped with games, all the kitchen cooking items you need to make a meal, and was super clean. The beds were comfy and the hot water for the showers were very good. We were able to unwind and enjoy each other's company. In addition, the location was super great. Just a short walkable distance to the General Store. We were also close to the waterfalls, Fish Lake, and hiking trails in which we did a day hike. Super cozy cabin and super communicative hosts! We would love to come back and rent this cabin again!"
"Awesome house. Tons of space for a big group. The upstairs TV area is great for groups to hang out. Would definitely stay again when we return in the future. Easy to get to a number of awesome hikes in the area too - our group enjoyed a few hour trip up to the Blue Pool."
McKenzie Riverfront Cabin big screened-in porch, 1/2mi to Mckenzie River Trail
10/10 Excellent
"Pet friendly, immaculate cabin. The screened in porch is the star; we spent endless hours watching the river roll by. Well appointed kitchen with all you need including oil, spices, and ground coffee (no coffee grinder)."
The North Bank Cabin,100ft private McKenzie Riverfront, Grill, 20min to Falls
10/10 Excellent
"It was more rustic than I expected but very comfortable. The deck space was relaxing and nice. It's a great spot to enjoy the sounds of nature and we didn't see any neighbors while we were there. The kitchen was fairly well equipped but additional drinking glasses and some wine glasses would have been nice. There are restaurants and a store surprisingly close by and the Obsidian Grill even offers some gluten free and vegan options. Two very minor complaints about the house: 1. It has some funky smells - old home where someone used to smoke? and mildew/mold in bathroom. 2. There is no streaming service on the TV. I like to stream a movie or show in the evening after a day of hiking. The DVDs I was most interested in watching were empty cases. Overall though this was a great experience and the home is located right near lots of beautiful waterfalls and trails. I would recommend it!"
