"What a train wreck. This host destroyed our family trip. Took out money and then never responded. Disconnected his phone, padlock on gate to property. With the festival, there was no other properties available."

"Amazing, something for everyone in our family (4 adults, 4 teens, and a preteen) Magical sunsets, amazing wildlife experiences. Unexpected yet amazing mattress in a pull out couch, that has an air mattress topper for amazing comfort and the best view. Came during the Summer, but want to come back for storm season in the Winter now"

"Definitely worked for us since it was a smaller group, but still tight. It was clean but not stocked with typical necessities. There isn’t a store on the island ( other than a tiny marina store) so I would have liked to have been prepared prior to coming. We didn’t receive any information until the morning we were traveling. Loved our host though, very communicative and caring! "

"Lovely home with very responsive host in friendly community with walking trails, beaches, and beautiful views of south Puget Sound. The quiet house, nestled among cedars with plenty of privacy from nearby homes, was clean and spacious, with an EV charger (and adapter for non-Teslas), AC, and nice kitchen (could have used a few more baking pans, sponges, and cutting boards, but had lots of dishes and some spices and coffee). The house fit our two families (6 of us total) well as we enjoyed cooking, board games, and movies on the big screen. A fawn wandered by the living room window one morning. We walked 5 minutes to the beach to see eagles, herons, and seals. Had a cookout at the tip of the island in the grills and firepits provided (a 1-mile walk away, or drive there). We enjoyed meeting the friendly, long-term community members at the beach and the community center: nice outdoor pool, pickleball courts, pool table, library. Off-island, we liked exploring Shelton (nearest big grocery store), the Olympic Bakery, lavender fields, and ride-the-rails. There was more to do, and we’d love to return. "
