No Shared Spaces…. Washer and Dryer…. Two Spacious Bedrooms…. 420 Friendly…. Balcony with grill and Lake views and an efficiency kitchen with full size fridge. Primary bedroom has a King bed, secondary bedroom has a queen bed. The space is on the second floor of an estate home. Entrance for guests is the front door. The town is walking or biking distance. A coffee shop, bank, restaurant, fitness center, tennis courts, etc.. quaint, charming welcoming, truly a small town atmosphere. We are centrally located to Boulder, Denver and Fort Collins, a 30 minute drive. Estes Park is 45 minutes. Easy commute to Rocky Mountain National Park. No cleaning fees.

More beautiful than imagined!!!

David and MaryEllen host this most spectacular VRBO. Our place was spacious, clean, immaculately decorated with beautiful detail, included comfortable beds, perfectly functional kitchen, and, for us, located in a quaint farming area on a quiet lake. Our only complaint is we're too far to frequent this VRBO regularly. What a gem!!!

Amazing Place to Stay!!

This Gem was so peaceful and welcoming! Communication was quick. The home was clean and had everything a person could need to make the stay perfect! I highly recommend this vacation spot! We will definitely stay there again if we are in Colorado!!! 5 stars all the way!!

Quiet retreat

We enjoyed the view, outdoor space, friendly and helpful owners, pups and indoor space. They thought of many details inside as if they were staying there. Highly recommend.

Wedding in Berthoud

We had a wedding to attend in Berthoud, CO. This was the perfect place to stay. The location - it's really close to everything - Johnstown, Berthoud, Loveland, Greeley, Estes Park - we were close to quite a bit. The property is beautiful, the place is clean and the hosts (present & past) were awesome! We will definitely be back. I highly recommend this place!

Delightful Stay

We chose to stay here instead of getting a hotel while visiting our daughter in Longmont. So glad we did! The dwellings were clean and well appointed. The host thought of all needs and the upstairs rooms and decor were very welcoming and well equipped. We didn’t want for anything. Plenty of space to hangout and enjoy time together. Will definitely stay here again on our next visit.

We couldn't have asked for a more comfortable, welcoming destination for our trip. The accommodations were outstanding. The home and surrounding landscaping are just beautiful. Perfect for Our Purpose

This location was perfect for us. Near our son’s home outside Longmont. The setting was wonderful quiet and beautiful. The hosts respected our privacy but were there when we had questions. The unit itself was great. Very comfortable and well maintained. The kitchen is small but we managed to cook three dinners and holiday cookies there. We’d stay again while visiting with our son.

DO NOT miss staying at this property !!! Margaret and Ron are wonderful, better than family. We were in Colorado for our 35 wedding anniversary and to visit family in the area. Oh and of course do lots of hiking in the mountains. The unit they provided was above and beyond our expectations ! I don't write reviews but I can't say enough about how nice our hosts were as well as the amazing comfort they provided us.

Home Away From Home

This truly is a GEM! We stayed here in between moving into our new home, and it truly was a home away from home. Everything was thought of; we were able to both work fully from home, and were comfortable the entire stay. Every day, I enjoyed a walk around the dirt roads here and saw many bald eagles and flocks of geese landing on the lake! It was paradise. Margaret and Ron left us feeling like we were family as well. We will definitely keep them in mind for family coming into town, and know that we have made fast friends here in Colorado. I 10000% recommend this VRBO as a place to stay while visiting! It's also centralized to so much, with an hour drive to the airport, and hour drive to RMNP, and so many hiking paths and good food to eat. If you need a place to stay during your stay near Boulder/Longmont, this is the best choice!

Peaceful and comfortable

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Margaret and Ron's place. The guest apartment is spacious, bright, and thoughtfully furnished. The king bed is one of the most comfortable I've ever slept in. (Can't comment on the queen bed, but I imagine it's good too.) The kitchenette had everything we needed to prepare simple meals. Ron and Margaret are warm and generous hosts, while still allowing their guests plenty of privacy. We enjoyed walking around the property, taking in Ron's sculpture, and kayaking on the lake. We were both working some of the time, so we appreciated that each bedroom had a functional desk and the wifi was good. The balcony is the perfect spot for morning coffee with a view of the trees (plus birds). All in all, a wonderful spot, and we look forward to coming back!

Peaceful, beautiful, restful stay

I took my almost 10 year old daughter on a special mother-daughter getaway for her upcoming birthday and Margaret and Ron's incredible home was the perfect spot! It was a treat for both my daughter and myself - the backdrop for good food, good conversation, time in nature and feeling like we were far away from home on a special vacation instead of 20 minutes from home! The apartment is so lovely, bright and spacious with everything you need. We loved kayaking on the lake and sitting on the balcony. Would definitely return here!!

I loved it and the hosts were great and accommodating. The only issue, if it could be considered an issue, is that is so far from everything. That actually makes it a great vacation location. I would recommend this location to anybody and everybody. There is more than advertised.

A Hidden Paradise Near Mead, Colorado

I had an incredible stay at this rental right outside Mead, Colorado. The location felt like a paradise away from the city hustle, surrounded by vast farms and offering a breathtaking view of the Rocky Mountains. The 45-minute drive to Estes Park was a scenic journey in itself. The living space was simply amazing, providing ample room and complete privacy with a separate entrance. The highlight was undoubtedly the beautiful balcony overlooking the property and the serene lake. The expansive 5-acre property was a delight to explore, adorned with stunning flower gardens, flourishing vegetable patches, charming apple trees, towering 8-foot sunflowers, and captivating sculptures. What truly elevated the experience was the warm hospitality of the hosts. Ron and Margaret were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Ron even took the time to give me a tour of the entire property, which added a personal touch to the stay. Their easygoing nature made the experience even more pleasant. I can't recommend this rental enough. If you're seeking a tranquil retreat with picturesque surroundings, spacious living quarters, and hosts who go above and beyond to ensure your comfort, this is the place to be. From enjoying sunsets against the backdrop of the Rocky Mountains to exploring the lush gardens, this rental offers a slice of paradise that's hard to find elsewhere.

This is a lovely location, not in town but just around the corner. The property was as described, well appointed, and quite clean. We enjoyed our stay and would love to return during our next hiking extravaganza!
