We stayed here for a night when visiting the West side of the Canyon. It was about a 40 minute drive to the canyon, very convenient. The cabin is in a very quiet area, very secluded. All is as described and the owners were easy to reach and available for all questions.
The setting and property were delightful...simple, lovely and comfortable. Communication was always helpful and prompt. We would return and will recommend.
We enjoyed our stay. The cabin was very clean with several little details and touches that were both appreciated and a reflection of the hospitality of the host. It kind of felt like a B&B without having the host on your face. The location is close to Grand Canyon West. And we appreciated being on the edge of the Joshua Tree Forest. We took in both sunrise and sunset.
My wife and I enjoyed our stay here. Off the beaten path enough to feel remote but without miles of driving to get there. We were treated to both a beautiful sunrise and sunset… just walk across the road and wander as long as you want. If you’re looking for a genuine desert retreat this will fit the bill nicely. The only drawback for me… I found out I’m not a fan of being on camera every time I step foot outside the house. Just feels invasive. We stayed in 6 different houses on our trip and this was the only one with cameras. Not my house, not my rules. I would still recommend staying though. Just be aware you can’t hang out on the patio in privacy. That includes audio.
We rented Trevor and Michelle's cabin to get to the west rim of the Grand Canyon. We had Ziplining at 10 am and we left by 920am to get there. We missed our check in so they stuck us in with the 11am group.
After driving from the South Rim and a day of exploring the West Rim it was nice to come back to a beautiful, homey, cabin and watch the sun set on the desert of pink rock and Joshua trees.
We had a fire in the pit, (me and three teens) and enjoyed being able to chill. There was plenty of room and board games, and even a telescope.
Trevor & Michelle think of everything you might need and make it convenient to be there! We had good sleep with comfortable beds and sheets too.
Thank you for sharing your family's cabin with us!

Magical land with incredible view and modern comforts
Michelle and Trevor have created and incredible cottage in a very remote area that is close to many natural wonders! It is literally in the middle of a Joshua Tree forest more dense than anywhere I have traveled, with many beautiful flowers and plants throughout. Water is trucked in to supply the place, so respect the effort and conserve the water. We all showered and washed our dishes just fine, however, there is not an unlimited supply. Great porch for sunrise and coffee, beautiful sunsets behind. The roads are rough from washout, so stick to Smith when arriving. A low or small car may have a challenge. Great hosts, well appointed and great communication. Thank you Michelle and Trevor!
4 adults looking for a relaxing, short vacation. This place definitely checked all of the boxes. The owners were veryhelpful and their knowledge of the area helped u round out a perfect weekens get away.
The hosts were very responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. A bit of a hiccup with check-in, but the host made every effort to get us access to the property. They were very quick and highly responsive even on Thanksgiving day!Love the location of the property and the surrounding nature. Sunrises and sunsets were beautiful. We found everything we needed in the cute little cabin. The fenced courtyard was perfect for our two fur babies and allowed them to nap in the sun on the porch. Our two pooches may have loved it as much as we did.!

We stayed overnight as a side trip from Vegas. We were able to see the Hoover Damn and Grand Canyon. We didn’t realize how close we would be to the Joshua Tree Forest so that was an added bonus. The property was super clean and Michelle was so nice. She went above and beyond to make our stay pleasant. We would recommend.
Well off the beaten path and surrounded by nature, this cabin is perfect if you desire solitude. The hosts have thought of everything you will need to be comfy and even offer special packages - such as all the fixings for a steak dinner, which we took advantage of. They communicated clearly and provided everything that was promised. We really enjoyed our weekend and would gladly return.

The cabin was very secluded and we enjoyed the surrounding scenery. It gave us a taste of living in the desert. We could see the mountains. It was so nice to be able to bbq and relax after a long day at the Grand Canyon. Communication was constant with the owners and we loved our stay.
Loved great views and cabin is nestled in Joshua tree forest
Views of Grand Canyon west rim right as you step on front patio area through sliding door. Host were great and very responsive easy in and out process. My wife and 15 year old enjoyed it. Clean beds and surfaces. Would stay again
Our trip was quick but absolutely wonderful at this cabin! It had all the essentials to feel like home and we were completely enamored with being in the middle of the desert with a Joshua Tree right outside our window. We will definitely be back to stay again, hopefully to make a bonfire and stargaze out where there are no light.
Thank you to the wonderful hosts!
Michelle and Trevor were amazing. Property is as described and they provide a lot of extra little things that are a bonus! They were very responsive and attentive when communicating with them prior to and while at the location. This place is a quiet getaway from the hustle and bustle… nestled in the Joshua Tree Forest!
We chose this property for its closeness to the Grand Canyon & also Las Vegas, where we flew in from. It did not disappoint! This cabin is charming & hosts obviously go out of their way to make a nice stay! We had snacks & water waiting for us & opted in on a steak dinner, which was a delicious TBone! It felt like we were in middle of nowhere & staying in was just what we wanted! Our day on the West Rim was perfect too & loved the locale. The cabin in the middle of Joshua Trees was very unique & fun, plus that sky was amazing! We would definitely stay here again!
This cabin was the perfect place for me to get away from the city with my husband, 5-year-old and my dog! The place is clean, well kept, and has all the home amenities you need to make it feel like a home away from home. Michelle and Trevor were very communicative and were very understanding when I messed up with the Vrbo app. I also arranged to have steaks left for us to grill and they were delicious! We spent the day at the Grand Canyon, which was an easy short drive. I loved it, and I felt so very refreshed after a weekend in the quiet and the stars!!
