"We loved our stay at the Kangaroo property. The house was wonderful, and the view of Medina Lake was beautiful. However, parents of young children should be aware that the spiral staircases could pose a serious safety concern. The owners did warn us about the stairs, but I did not fully understand their design or how difficult they would be with small children until we arrived. This was not the owners’ fault, but I would not personally recommend the property to families with young children. Otherwise, it is an amazing place to stay."

"Nice cool home, especially needed in the Texas summer heat! The home was so comfortable for our family of 13. Pool was nice and clean. Host and property manager were so very helpful. We were able to get HEB delivery to the property and that was very convenient. The lakeview was lovely. Perfect home for our get away!!"

"Property is great. Medina lake has been basically empty for years. We got to watch it fill up a lot daily while we were there. Although the flooding north of Medina was bad it was a good thing for the lake."

"The house was as described, we came for our honeymoon and it was perfect. I think our favorite part of our trip was the deer!! It is a house we would definitely book again. Our favorite place to eat near by was Out of the Way Cafe."
