"Overall we had a great stay, and the receptionist was excellent. 'Our' room was fantastic. Big, clean, and spacious in every room, with a very large balcony and a very good shower. The cleaners came every day and towels etc were changed daily. Now... we were on the right side of the building (as you look from the seafont) and the view was awful. We had a derelict building about 10 feet in front of us with builders working there every day and a homeless couple living directly below us in the alcove, so this obviously was unexpected, especially as the pictures from Expedia etc, show rooms overlooking the sea and beach. I actually knew we didn't have the sea view as I messaged them to ask after I'd booked, which I was'nt happy with but had little choice. However, I expected a better view than we had. If we had been housed on the left side it would have been pleasant as this overlooked the street and restaurants. We did complain, and I have to say they did their best to move us, but the rooms were all booked up and the one they offered us was really small and still on the right side. When we arrived there was a German chap who must have been given a tiny room as he was kicking off big time, and ended up throwing his teddy in the corner and storming off to look for somewhere else. Anyway.... to sum up. GREAT LOCATION RIGHT ON THE EDGE OF OLD TOWN. BE CAREFUL WHICH ROOM AND SIDE OF THE BUILDING YOU BOOK AS YOU MAY BE DISAPPOINTED SO DO YOUR HOMEWORK FIRST AND EMAIL THEM IF IN DOUBT"
