"A comfortable and newly updated hotel. The owner was personable and helpful, making sure we had everything we needed for a pleasant holiday. They have an excellent breakfast that you shouldn’t skip. It was a fairly easy walk to the Market Square as well as all of the historic sights of Meißen. Also close to the train station for a day trip to Dresden and the Schloss Wackerbarth winery. "

"The apartment location is a 15-20 min walk to the center of town. The apartment is comfortable. The value was great as we needed to park and didn't want to spend much on our stay but be close to the center. We didn’t try the breakfast but they have a nice outside patio to eat."

"I arrived at 6pm and the hotel was closed. I rang the bell and fortunately someone replied on the intercom. My key was in a loxk box next to the door and I was given the pin to open it. I was told to arrive before 8, not 6.
The hotel is a 10 minute drive from downtown. "

I highly appreciated the cleanliness, the comfort, the friendly staff, free parking on site, the interesting historical design of the location.
Some noise due to the old, creaking parquet floor and traffic.
The breakfast offer could be improved in variety and presentation.

The entrance on the street is unprepossessing, but our room inside was excellent--clean and spacious, with an updated bathroom, plenty of outlets, a desk and a table with chairs, a sofa in a separate area so one person can read without bothering a partner sleeping, and two big windows. When we opened a window, we could hear the creek chuckling softly below. And in the mornings, Frau Winter provided a great breakfast buffet with something for everyone.

We found the staff very professional, welcoming and helpful. This is a hotel that is perfectly placed in the Altstadt near all the sights. The bedrooms have high ceilings with ample space and our mini was complimentary. We didn't get to visit the spa. All in all I woudl highly recommend the Hyperion.

Excellent location in the old market square, all shops and restaurants around you, 5 min walk to all the sights, couldn't ask for better, parking is just beside the hotel with an independent company Q park so you pay a normal high price separately for parking
