Very convenient location, right next to Chinatown so there is amazing food right around the corner! Facilities were good - kitchen and rooftop shared space to relax and meet new people. We stayed in a single room with private bathroom, very nice, with private balcony. It was really great!

Modern, secure and relatively clean property. Nice roof top area and spa, clean and well stocked kitchen. Bath towels included, charging port and light by the bed. All in all great property and would stay again, especially for the price point. Dorm room floor cleaning could happen more often in my opinion and the wifi wasnt always the greatest, but those were the only cons

Home away from home

Perfect for a solo trip with single room. The bathrooms are cleaned many times a day and the water is always hot. However, the hand dryers should be automatically switched off after 10pm as it is very loud and can wake you up during the night. Great location and very close to the essentials. The single room accommodation was perfect (just what you need nothing fancy). The staff were all very friendly, approachable and helpful. Definitely a home away from home!!

There are now traffic noise level cameras deployed in some cities to enforce restrictions on vehicles which are engineered to be noisy. If the proprietors of this hotel wanted to actually improve the experience of their guests, they would pay for the installation of a couple of these cameras on the road in front of the hotel and start reporting offenders to the police. The idiots who drive or ride deliberately noisy vehicles would soon see the advantage of taking a different route and the guests at this hotel would actually be able to get some sleep. But I guess as the hotel is aimed at backpackers, they don't care about people who actually value sleep.

This property is listed as a hotel. It has hotel in the name. I booked a room with a queen bed. I arrive to find out it’s a hostel operating under the guise of being a hotel. Kids under 16 years old running around everywhere, bunk bed shared rooms loud at all hours, but for some reason I had reception come to my room twice for noise complaints because of music playing on my phone? Not sure how you can have a private room but not actually be private at all. This was the worst experience I’ve had at a “hotel” in all my years of travel. If their name was space “hostel” I wouldn’t have stayed here. This feel fraudulent and I was conned into a terrible experience in Melbourne. Please take this property off of Expedia, leave it on Hostelworld

Everything works perfectly as always. Best set up. The silly young groups difficult und messy at times. My Medical Restrictions were completely forgotten this time, which led to unpleasant event. I've Always written them up front in the requests. And I had to tell a "supervisor" who came and stood over my head and started quarreling with guy trying to work, that she could do it outside the room. An experienced Manager has left, and things a little erratic & unprotected since. Unfortunate.

Great overnight stay and free breaky (Sundays) was a bonus. Lovely staff. The heaters are some what noisy but not enough to keep you up at night and they heated the rooms well. Very convenient location

Es un ligar agradable y perfecta vista desde la azotea. Tiene espacios muy bien definidos. El gym, el cine, y la cocina. Aparte los baños son individuales, eso lo hace más cómodo y limpio. ♥️ Estuve en una habitación semiprivada de 4 camas. Fue cómodo y agradable. Lo recomiendo para estar en Melbourne y conocer la city. Muy facil acceso al transporte público y a variedad de restaurantes cercanos

Great Hostel , very clean rooms , bathrooms and shower, the bathrooms and showers get cleaned 5 times a day which is excellent, my only gripe was the lack of privacy surrounding the beds there are no curtains to give that small bit of privacy which helps
