Great location. Free parking but it’s a bit of a walk which is hard with young kids. Upon checkout I noticed I left our charging plug and cable. My son went to pick it up a couple days later and they said nothing was found in the room. A major issue I had was being charged for room service breakfast. We didn’t have any breakfast. It took a few phone calls but the money was eventually refunded

Clean, nice rooms. Docklands area is convenient and pleasant to stay in. Easy to access the city, but you could easily find everything you need locally too. Plenty of good restaurants close too.

Top location. Far enough to not be in the hustle and bustle, whilst still having easy travel to all locations and having everything you need nearby (e.g. shopping centre, cinema, restaurants, river views, etc). The pool is heated even though it is outdoors making it a potential year-round pleasure. Kids had an amazing time. Perfect family friendly hotel and location. Definitely plan on making this our destination for future Melbourne travels.

Very few shops in the area around Docklands now. Thankfully we utilised the Hoyts cinemas and restaurants. The pool was virtually inaccessible due to the very high winds around the area. Some of the tiles had come away in the pool which proved t be a little dangerous for my daughter. The room itself was neat and tidy. No amenities other than milk in the bar fridge. The furniture in the hallways could do with a clean. The kids loved the buffet breakfast. All in all, on OK stay.

The reception staff at check in and departure were fantastic. The young lady who looked after our check out was able to offer us a discount after I listed off the issues with the room. 1. No skirt around the bed base 2. TV did not operate properly it would switch off after a few minutes. Apparently a known issue. 3. Room was not serviced even though extra towels and pillows were delivered. Apparently you need to put out a swing tag to have the room serviced. 4. The pillows initially supplied had zero support whereas the extra ones supplied were fantastic supportive pillows. 5. Getting a drink at the bar was nearly impossible as staff kept disappearing out the back for 15-20 minutes at a time. 6. There was a pile of sawdust at the bottom of the bathroom door from where it rubbed. 7. The initial towels supplied were almost threadbare whereas the extra towels supplied when requested were fantastic fluffy towels. 8. The 2 prints on the walls were hung on an angle that was visible without using a level. Other than that the location is fantastic and if these few things were taken care of we’d stay there again.

A big thank you to Alex at reception who was so helpful in making sure that we got another room and delivered the keys to us personally (the original room we had smelt of cigarettes). Rooms were clean and hotel has good facilities.
