Ich war beruflich für eine Nacht im Van der Valk Hotel Melle/Osnabrück. Das Hotel ist prinzipiell gut, finde aber den Preis aktuell, aufgrund von Renovierungsarbeiten in vielen Zimmern, einfach nicht in Ordnung. Man läuft in den Fluren durch die Baustelle. Geht bestimmt auch besser. Bei den Zimmern zur Straßenseite hin bekommt man selbst bei geschlossenen Fenstern den Straßenlärm zum Teil mit. Also besser ein Zimmer zur Gartenseite buchen. Das Frühstück ist sehr gut und reichhaltig. Top.

While I realize the property is still under restoration, it would have been best to put effort into getting the lift functional (I have mobility issues and stairs are a difficult task). Staff was amazing to non-German speaking guests. 😃

A beautiful hotel, that has just as beautiful rooms. Most rooms doo seem to be have been recently renovated, though they are currently renovating the first floor so beware. The onsite dinner is delicious, as is the breakfast buffet

Nice hotel but very noisy during renovation

Lovely staff at this hotel and a nice facility but unfortunately too noisy to enjoy my stay. Renovations are ongoing and I was awoken before 8am one morning by furniture being thrown from the second floor into bins below. Noise was very bad throughout the day as my room was one of the closest to the wing being renovated. To add on, I was directly below the fitness centre which was quite loud. We also lost use of the lift after the first day due to the construction. I would not stay again. Wasn;t able to relax or sleep well.

Prima kamer, net vernieuwd. Prima restaurant met ruime keuze. Ontbijt zoals gewoonlijk bij vd Valk super uitgebreid. Kom hier vaker tijd goed.

Overall ok, Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis jedoch nicht gut für das was man geboten bekommt. Kissen waren sehr hart, konnte man kaum drauf schlafen. Frühstück war ok.

Das Hotel liegt zwar direkt an der Autobahn und wer unbedingt mit offenen Fenster schlafen muss/will, sollte auf jeden Fall ein Zimmer zum Garten buchen. Sonst ist es ein Hotel das außergewöhnlich ist, sowohl von der Ausstattung, als auch von der Freundlichkeit des Personals. Ich war im Rahmen eines Workshops da und fand den Aufenthalt sehr gut und würde jederzeit wieder kommen.

Ich erwähne auszugsweise nur die negativen Aspekte, nicht jene als positiv, die für ein 4-Sterne Hotel selbstverständlich sind. Die Angaben beziehen sich konkret auf Zi 214 comfort plus. Die Heizung war m.E. defekt, da der Heizkörper unabhängig von der Reglereinstellung kalt blieb und die Zimmertemperatur max. 19 Grad C betrug. Die Rezeptionistin versuchte vergeblich sie in Gang zu bringen,um dann zu erklären, die Zimmertemperatur wäre zentral auf diese niedrige Temperatur festgelegt, weil die Gäste lieber im Kühlen schlafen würden. Die maximal erzielbare Beleuchtungshelligkeit war schummrig, abgesehen davon, das eine Lampe nur noch aus den 2 Stromkabel bestand. Das zweiteilige Bett ist nicht für Menschen geeignet, die sich nachts öfters drehen. die finden sich dann nämlich irgendwann auf dem Fussboden wieder. Wirklich ekelig aber waren 2 Dinge: Im Wasserkocher befand sich Wasser, das einem Feuchtbiotop zur Ehre gereicht hätte. Die beiden Wassergläser müssen vom Aspekt und Geruch her mit dem feuchten Reinigungslampen gereinigt worden sein, mit dem auch der Rest des Mobilars gereinigt worden ist. Der Rest sind dagegen Peanuts: nix Roomservice, nix a la carte, Restaurant, nix... Möglicherweise Personalausfall. Die Rezeptionistin hat jedenfalls ihr Bestes gegeben. Wenn man Besseres gewöhnt ist, kann man den Aufenthalt als kleines Abenteuer verbuchen.
