"My grandparents stayed at this hotel back in the 1950s so I gave it a whirl. Good location within walking distance to most places in Ullapool and very self-contained with no need to venture out for meals. Large parking lot for easy parking. We ate dinner at the hotel as my 88 year old mother was tired. For breakfast we went to The Bothy Coffee Shop. Very cute and quirky place with indoor and outdoor eating space."

"Lovely property. Because it is upstairs every window has a spectacular view. The apartment was clean, very well equipped and the bed was very comfortable. Alexander is an excellent host.After a very long drive from central Scotland, it was lovely to see Alexander waiting to welcome us.I love that part of the country, I like the long hours of daylight in June. I chose this particular place because it is dog friendly. My little long haired chihuahua loved it, too. The surprise of the holiday was the Arctic Convoy museum at Aultbea. It has so much to see and read. The Trail round Loch Ewe was fantastic. Aultbea has a well stocked store. This is a wonderful place to relax and recharge. In retrospect, a week wasn’t long enough. Highly recommended."
