They told me they would fix it and they never did. For five nights I stayed in a hot room. And now Expedia refuses to compensate me for the inconvenience. Expedia and the hotel said all sales are final. Another lady across from me booked two rooms and she had the same issue. They have had air conditioner issues for the longest and have no immediate plans to fix it. Book at your own risk!"Reviewed November 3, 2026Return • Dublin (DUB) - Paris (CDG)DUB - BVA • Direct BVA - DUB • Direct€669€451found 1 day agoper traveller - Hotel Faubourg Galant Paris - Handwritten Collection

"Great"
"Overnight stop on the way home. Booked a cheap, basic, no frills accommodation and that is exactly what we got. Tiny room, very thin mattress. The auto’ check in system failed and we had to go away and come back 2 hours later when someone was available to help sort out the issue. "
"The staff were amazing. Nothing too much and very friendly. The dinner and breakfast were phenomenal! I don’t think I’ve ever had such a good breakfast - the fruit salad was out of this world. And the terrace and garden were lovely for relaxing and eating in. Thank you so much!"
Best Western La Porte des Châteaux
Best Western La Porte des Châteaux"We have stayed here in one of the apartments around four times now, as an overnight stop driving from Spain/South of France. It is conveniently located off yhe motorway and good for families due to having a kitchen. Unfortunately, this time we had issues with the room. One of the sliding balcony doors did not lock which is a security risk as well as being dangerous. We reported it and luckily they did repair it. The bed covers were not clean and one mattress smelt strongly of urine. The covers...

Hostellerie de l'Écu de Bretagne"I’ve stayed many times at this hotel and I’m never disappointed. Clean spacious, comfortable rooms and friendly helpful efficient staff."
Maison Écologique en Paille
Maison Écologique en Paille"Not what we expected very surprised to find loo and bathroom on ground floor and shared with all inhabitants of the house. So surprised during a pandemic that only used things to a minimum also no hand gel provided. Do not feel house was made to be a BnB more like barging into someone's private house."
"The château itself is a beautiful building. The room we were in, a comfort room, was perfectly fine. Bed was comfy and wide. Breakfast was OK, lovely fresh croissants, but expensive for what it was. "
