"Nice breakfast bar. Generally clean room, lobby, corridors and elevator. Hotel seems to be getting too lax about allowing pets. Obvious stains in public areas where dogs had accidents. Quiet HVAC compared with other hotels. Nice location near I24."

"The room was dirty. No ac in the living room of site so it was 10 degrees hotter than bedroom. I paid in full on Expedia but they still said they were going to charge me an additional environmental fee. When I asked why they said because of Trump?!? The guy making breakfast told me he broke the waffle machine because he was mad, so I started to try their eggs but it turned out to be egg soup. Sausage didn't look like it was cooked. I decided to go to cracker barrel next door instead. Water was only like warm. Room smelled of mold. I had to walk through cigarette smoke to get in the front door. Then at the counter the lady had her pack of cigarettes on the counter. I guess this is mostly a smoking hotel, but it didn't smell like smoke in the room, just mildew. No towel rack. One remote for two tvs. I think that's it."

"Bathroom had mold growing on sink. Bedspreads had cigarette burns in them. Carpet stained. Breakfast area and lobby were clean & neat. Booked a 3 night stay but true to unforseen circumstances as well as condition of room needed to check out 1 day early. Gave over 24 hour notice but still charged for 3rd night. Would not recommend"

"Worst experience ever. Booked on Expedia one night before arrival. Showed up at 5 PM and was denied check-in because I didn’t send my ID to management by 4 PM. They canceled with no refund. Neither Expedia nor the property helped. Nothing on the listing mentioned this requirement. A confirmation number should mean the room is secured. This policy needs to be disclosed clearly at the time of booking."

"The lobby was clean, nothing special but clean enough. Our room was so stuffy and smelled like urine it was terrible. Wish we could open the windows and let some of that TN air in. Breakfast was nothing special, typical for this type of hotel. We spent two night there so we survived but if this was a longer trip I would have definitely looked for other place to move to. The smell was just unbearable."

"Non-smoking room had cigarette burn marks all over the bathroom. We purchased this location because I had a pool but they decided to open the pool later so it wasn’t even available. The room was completely worn down and in bad shape with sheets, thin comforter. The garbage can outside our door was overfilled to the point we had fruit flies in our room. The icemaker was extremely dirty, which we feel is what made us very sick. Extremely disappointed in Howard Johnson for the quality of this location."

"The resort sits atop a mountain, surrounded by a beautiful golf course, and the views are spectacular. The staff is very friendly and always helpful. The location is in close proximity to Chattanooga, good food, and sightseeing such as Rock City, Ruby Falls, hiking, and the Nat’l military park. It’s a short drive from most of the surrounding states. Very enjoyable trip!"
