Located just 3 km from the old charming village of Mérindol, this magnificent house in the typical architectural style of Provence opens its doors to you at the foot of the Luberon. Its 7,000 m² garden, adorned with shrubs, flower beds and a picnic area, is nestled against a beautiful limestone cliff. Relax under the shelter of a beautiful century-old tree on the extensive semi-covered terrace with garden furniture and barbecue. The comfortable and fully air-conditioned interiors are bright and spacious. The department of Vaucluse is rich in attractions: the Colorado Provençal or the ochre rocks of Rustrel, the village of Fontaine-de-Vaucluse and its source of the Sorgue at the foot of a 230-meter cliff, Mont Ventoux or mountain villages, many of which are officially among the most beautiful villages in France, such as Gordes, Ménèrbes, Bonnieux, Lourmarin and Lauris. Take part in the festivals in Avignon, Roque-d'Anthéron and Aix-en-Provence. For golf fans, the prestigious Pont-Royal golf course awaits 7 km away. Due to the proximity to the D973 road, there is a low noise level outside towards the gate, but inside the house you will not hear anything.

Perfekter Rückzugsort

Ein für zwei Personen vergleichsweise riesiges Haus. Eine schöne große offene Küche, ausgestattet mit allem, was man braucht (Kaffeemaschine, Mikrowelle, Kühlschrank, Gefrierfach, Toaster, Waschmaschine, Besen, Schaufel, Wischutensilien, Reiniger, also einfach alles … außer Wasserkocher). Schöne Schlafzimmer, mit Klimaanlage (das ist im Sommer sehr wichtig wegen der Mücken), die Betten sind allerdings nur 1,90 m lang. Riesiges Grundstück, viele Sonnen- und Schattenplätze frei wählbar. Wunderschöner riesiger Lindenbaum mit Zikaden direkt vor dem Haus. Die Straße vor dem Haus ist tatsächlich ein kleines Manko, aber die Autos werden abends weniger und beim Schlafen stört sie wegen der gut schließenden Fenster nicht. Sehr netter und hilfsbereiter Vermieter, spricht auch etwas Englisch, wohnt nicht mit auf dem Grundstück, antwortet aber auf aufkommende Fragen per SMS innerhalb von Minuten. Fazit: Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.
