"Excellent staff, very friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean, breakfast was well stocked, coffee and ice water in lobby 24 hours a day, and day access to laundry and ice machine on every floor. The pool was clean, the kids pool could use an upgrade and warmer water. The hot tub was HOT and was great! The pool was rather deep at 5’ almost the whole thing. The only thing that didn’t work was the sauna and pool table in the arcade area."

"The best part was how friendly the staff were and how clean the rooms were. The rooms are small, not any extras like a clock or coffee maker. Some of our party didn’t have irons. The facility is a bit dated but mostly maintained."

"We stayed for three nights, and were happy to get this place on rather short notice. The kitchen was gorgeous, with a clean modern vibe, and everything was very clean. Comfy beds. Perhaps not the best place if you are super tall (I am 5’5” and could stand in the middle portion of the 3rd floor, my husband could not.) As seniors with sensitive knees, we did find the spiral staircase a bit challenging, but over time got used to the climb, using the railings to assist. We really appreciated the effective main level and bedroom level A/C, as well as the main level dehumidifier, as temps were in the 90’s every day. The second level is a cosy living area with sofa and TV and streaming services. Location is close to town. The fireplace is a nice touch, but we didn’t use it or the firepit, or the porch. Just too hot out!"

Great River Road - Victorian Historic Home (1898)

"Our extended family loved staying in this home for the weekend. We had 11 adults which consisted of 4 couples and 3 others and although a couple of people had to sleep on couches it all worked well. The home is beautiful inside and out. My husband and I loved sitting out on the little balcony off our room to enjoy some coffee and a snack. I gave all 5 stars and will say that our group was on the older side and did have some issues with the two sets of steps from the street to the house - so not necessarily mobility friendly. All in all it was an incredible weekend with my family and the home offered a wonderful gathering space."
