"Liked the laminate floors in the room rather than carpet. Room was very clean and spacious. Bed was fairly comfortable. Everything in the room (fridge, microwave, TV, faucets, sink, shower, toilet) worked well. Appreciated the many TV channels and the written instructions on how to navigate the TV channels and streaming apps. Breakfast was fairly basic (cereals, breads, yogurt, fruit, coffee and tea). No hot items, but sufficient for something quick to eat. Couldn’t walk to any restaurants or stores, but a large commercial area is only a 5 minute drive away. Carpet in the hallways could use with being changed, but other than that, good value for the price. Would stay here again."

Nature Lovers - Waterfront - Lower Rideau Lake - Dog Friendly!

10/10 Excellent
"We greatly enjoyed our one week stay at Isabelle's cottage. The place has everything that one needs for a tranquil stay away from the daily hustle and bustle: clean, well furnished, a well-equipped kitchen, spacious deck, canopy with outdoor lounge seating, fire pit, wifi and TV, games porch ... and so on. The VRBO description warned us that this is not a spot from which to swim, but it was still a bit of a disappointment at first that the waterfront is mostly weeds and lillies. However, we quickly adjusted to the view, and loved the peace and quiet. The nearby beach at Rideau Ferry Yacht Club was surprisingly uncrowded and a great spot for swimming. Isabelle was never more than a quick dm or phone call away. Communication was excellent. Any and all identified issues (real and id-10-t) were quickly addressed. We look forward to returning next year if the cottage is available."

Glamping anyone? Enjoy picturesque sunsets from your own water’s edge deck!

10/10 Excellent
"We had a wonderful time during our stay. Wendy was very helpful and friendly. She was always available for our questions. The lake view from the bunkie has fantastic sunsets and the outdoor shower area has amenities for washing dishes etc. There's a BBQ for grilling or a fire pit if you want to roast over the campfire. The property includes everything you would need for glamping in comfort. We especially enjoyed the sunsets, listening to the loons and birdwatching by the lake."
