"We had a great time on Bass Lake! Great location close to high peaks. Very secluded and nestled in the woods. Great using the kayaks and seeing some fall foliage! "

"The house itself was beautiful, and the location on the lake was picturesque. There were undoubtedly several aspects that needed improvement before I could recommend this rental to anyone else. First of all, an error in the provided directions to the property caused us to travel about two hours in the wrong direction before we realized the mistake. A few key things were missing that would have improved our stay, including pillowcases on one of the beds, a coffee maker, baking trays, wine opener, and salt/pepper/oil. There were only four of us staying here this weekend, and there wasn't enough seating for us to eat together at a table or relax comfortably in the living room. We did make use of the canoe, which was fun, enjoying an evening on the lake. It seemed we were among the first renters for this property, and hopefully, it will improve in the future. "
