Awesome Property

An amazing place to stay. Short drive to Lake Placid, Keene, Whiteface Mountain. Beautiful surroundings. We plan on going back next year!

Peace in the mountains

This cabin was as advertised and provided many family memories. Communication with owners was quick and supportive and the surrounding beauty in nature was stunning.

Better than a hotel

My son and I were in town for the Empire State winter Games and decided to stay in a cabin. This was perfect for what we needed and then some. He ended up having several of his teammates stay and there was still room to spare. Great experience!!! Great cabin!!!!!

Visit With Santa

Our family trip was for our 2 1/2yr old grandson to visit Santa at the "North Pole." He enjoyed a magical visit and the adults were able to sit back, relax and enjoy some good family time. The cabin was nicely decorated for Christmas which added to his excitement and the bin of toys were a great way for him to enjoy something new. The cabin has all the amenities of home and we were able to bake cookies, prepare meals, watch Christmas movies and relax. The location is great. We were very comfortable there. The only thing that didn't cooperate was the weather. We are looking forward to coming back with our other daughters to explore the Lake Placid area. Thanks Tyler and Alyssa!

Beautiful cabin

We’ve stayed in this cabin before and had a great time coming back! It’s a gorgeous space with everything you need. Fully stocked and prepared for every occasion. I couldn’t give 5 stars on the cleaning this time but that is no reflection of the owners, they trust the cleaning company to have that all taken care of. After mentioning the cleanliness to the owners, they refunded our cleaning fee (I didn’t even ask them to!) and made it right. I wouldn’t have expected them to do that, I just wanted to bring it to their attention. It didn’t have any effect on our stay, we had a GREAT time! The trail that leads to the lake is so fun, the fire pit is stocked with wood, the porch is a great place for morning coffee. We will definitely be back!

Amazing!

The Tumblerock Cabin is beautiful! The cabin has all the amenities you would want. We cooked all of our meals at the cabin and used the gas grill. All linens were provided and we did not want for anything. It was super warm, even when the temps dipped below freezing. The master bed was super comfy which made it hard to get out of in the morning. There are a ton of other sleeping areas which we did not utilize. We enjoyed the loft TV area, the livingroom and stove and played a few games of pool in the lower level. The community is great. We did not see anyone else except the snowplow! We snowshoed around the lake and on the trails. It is wonderful in the winter. This location would also be highly desirable in the summer. I would highly recommend this cabin and will not hesitate to stay again. I already cannot wait!

Fabulous House

Loved this property. Beautiful design. Great kitchen. Well equipped. Nice to have a dishwasher. And the washing machine and dryer were great to have, as we stayed here half way through a three week vacation. Cleanliness was good inside. The balcony hadn't been swept before we checked in. Some muck came out of the jacuzzi jets when we used it. As others have said, soundproofing between the two main bedrooms is poor, but it wouldn't stop us returning. Easy to find. Well located, but very quiet and private. One near neighbour, but we heard no noise from them. Noises at night from outside were amazing. Not sure what critters were making them! For a couple, this property was not cheap, but it was great value.

Great location nearby Lake Placid, Whiteface and High Peaks, Ausable Chasm and Lake Champlain. Room setup good for our family. We enjoyed the charcoal grill and fire pit.

Cozy getaway

The cabin was cozy and clean! The kitchen was stocked with cookware and we were able to prepare a feast together. We enjoyed using the downstairs TV to play games and liked the pool table. Also, the hosts were responsive to our messages. I would recommend this cabin for a stay!

Beautiful location 30 mins to lake placid

My family and I really enjoyed staying at the cabin. The location was perfect. Quiet campground kind of feel, yet 30 minutes from lake placid and only 15 minutes to Whiteface mountain. We would definitely stay again. It was fully stocked with everything but the food. So nice convenient and comfortable! Thank you for your hospitality.

Peaceful, relaxing cabin

We enjoyed our stay in this peaceful, quiet cabin. The master bed is comfortable; the kitchen is well-stocked with pots, pans, bowls etc; TV space is cozy; convenient location. We enjoyed the front porch - a calm, relaxing place away from it all. We even heard a few owls. We had an issue when we arrived and the owners were understanding and responsive.

Fun in the snow

We had a great time. The whole family loved the cabin and at times didn’t want to leave. It’s so close to whiteface and Lake Placid. Great food near by as well.

The cabin is even larger than it appears in photos with plenty of space for groups to hang out. The location is also convenient to Keene, Wilmington, and Lake Placid. We had everything we needed, instructions were easy to find, and overall all 4 of us had a relaxing experience.
