Beautiful Historic Shotgun House - 10 min to FQ

"We had 5 adults in our group. This home was perfect for us. It's close to public transportation, but just far enough away from downtown. The owner and neighbors are friendly. Seriously.....take a walk around and talk to the locals. They know all the best spots! Home is clean and spacious. Gas station, restaurants, etc are within walking distance. If you are like us and cook on vacation there are tons of pots and pans. However, if you need to bake something, consider bringing a casserole dish or buying a cheap tin from a nearby store."

"The location was ideal. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the staff was lovely. However, the room had nowhere to put your suitcases or "stuff!" There were no chairs or desk. The nightstand had no shelves or drawers. It was frustrating! Also, be careful where your room is because it can be very noisy as you get closer to Bourbon Street. Best bar in the area with great performers."

"This place was great! Everything was clean and staff was helpful! Only thing miss leading was the parking situation. There is still parking out front by the road, but you have to catch it just right to be able to park there. Would still stay here again though! Great place!"

Beautifully Restored New Orleans Big Balcony Home - 7 Minutes to French Quarter!

"The property is fine. The host is helpful and communicative when you reach out for the most part. This is the first time there hasn't been instructions for anything either in a physical binder, or online so that was harder to deal with. No wifi instructions, but they gave us it when we reached out and asked. I've stayed in a TON Airbnb of vrbo rentals and the things that were "wrong" seem VERY easy to fix. The single plastic shower curtain isn't long enough so the water floods the floor. The front yard has a broken birdbath and is overgrown and there's trash. There's an Ironing board, but no iron so I couldn't get my clothes ready for the conference I was in town for. The day bed on the porch has a terrible smell of BO/sweat. No laundry soap at all for the washer. Broken slats on all the blinds, dirt smedges on the power strips. I bet 500 bucks and a few hours would make this place SO much better. The biggest issue that I'm not sure they can fix is there are MULTIPLE wild roosters and chickens cawing at almost all hours of the day and night. Not great sleep. It was safe, the linens and pillows etc were very clean and white inside the home with only a few exceptions, the appliances all functioned well. I hope they can figure it out because it could be something great! I'm only leaving this because I hope they do."

"Exceptional place!! Myself and 4 of my friends came down for my birthday and had the best time! This place is even better than I imagined from the pictures! Close to everything, easy to get around. We absolutely loved the special touches! (Muses! Iykyk!!) host was available for any questions, well stocked accommodations, highly recommend!! My friends kept going on and on about how comfortable we all felt! Will definitely be a return customer!"
