"I had wanted to stay here for a while and finally had the opportunity in mid October. Definitely a shoulder season for the area, I was the only one there for most of my stay. Even so, the facilities were clean and well maintained and the quietness provided exactly what I was looking for. "Great place to stay to stage for backpacking, Rooms are big and the is a microwave for late-arrival dinners, Dog rooms are fine, just dog rooms. Overall, we had a pleasant stay."

"very tranquil, incredibly scenic, nicely remote. Bed was listed as queen, but thinking it was a full, was very comfortable and had down comforters as well. Restaurant was amazing, view from restaurant was incredible, food was good and a little expensive. The interior of the lodge was beautifully done with hunting trophies (mounts). "
