"We had a wonderful stay! It's a beautiful spot, and we especially loved the courtyard area for eating breakfast and lounging. The only downside was that our room didn't have a mini fridge, but that was something I should have considered ahead of time. I especially loved all of the gorgeous Victorian architecture!"

"Great communication and super easy check in. The house was absolutely spotless and very nicely remodeled and decorated. The towels were good quality and plenty of them. The bathrooms were solid...very well done. This is an older home that has been remodeled, so expect some original features like floors, stairs, and some squeaks. The street was very quiet and safe with a few more homes being restored on the block. You do need to drive for food, groceries, and activities, but we did a lot in our week there and planned meals and groceries for when we were out and found nothing to be too far. The backyard was peaceful and large, and also well kept. There is one TV, which was fine for us, but know this if you have kids you want downtime from ;-). Overall great house and owners! M b b C pp"

"The house is a DREAM house with an amazing host - Butler. It was clean, has wonderful amenities, in a great location, very quiet, and SAFE. We were 10 minutes from downtown Detroit but you would never know it. The neighborhood / street is tree lined, quiet, and beautiful. You have very convenient access to the major highways (10 & 75). The house itself is very cool inside. This is a national landmark and must have been an automotive executive home with all of the details & luxury items. If you have a large group, this home would be a perfect landing spot. We would rent again in a heartbeat if we needed a place like this again in Detroit. Lastly, the host, Butler couldn’t be lovelier. His communication was fantastic and he was very accommodating."

"This home is quite nice and suitable for a larger family or group. The list accurately reflects the property though I wouldn't count on the alley parking since the alley is overgrown. As far as the home is concerned, it is well-appointed and in a relatively quiet location in Virginia Park. The area isn't a great neighborhood but it isn't terrible either- just need to be aware and alert.The host is fantastic with communication and very responsive."
