When first entered, the room number was incorrect , and took sometimes to reach out to the property owner to get the correct one. It’s nearby the street, so kinda noisy at night. If looking for clubs/ bars at night, it’s far away. The wifi is not working….

I did not like that the bathroom sink was extremely small. It also did not have air conditioning. Other than that the place was clean and in a nice location.

The property is excellent. The apartments are well decorated and super clean. The kitchen was well stocked. The rooftop is a wonderful place to meditate or get work done.

The employees working there are AMAZING - I loved that we had a laundry room with soap etc on every other floor. Never got to see the roof but that’s because I was always busy elsewhere. Would stay here again It’s not exactly in Roma unless you wanna walk 15-20 mins each way. That’s why 1 star

I recently stayed at casa insurgentes by kukun for two nights and had a mixed experience. On the positive side, the room was clean and tidy upon arrival, and the security guard at the front desk was helpful and attentive. However, my stay was marred by some significant issues. The first morning, I discovered there was no hot water in the shower. To make matters worse, there was no water at all in the entire building, leaving me unable to shower or even brush my teeth. Unfortunately, there were no hotel employees on staff besides the security guard, and obtaining information about when the water would be restored proved to be a challenge. Despite inquiries, the security guard was unable to provide a satisfactory answer regarding the timeline for fixing the issue. Upon returning to the hotel around 2 pm, I was relieved to find that water had been restored to the building. However, there was still no hot water available, making it difficult to enjoy a comfortable shower. Additionally, I encountered difficulties in getting the Wi-Fi to work properly, further inconveniencing my stay. Overall, while the room was clean and the security guard was helpful, the lack of hot water, water outage, and Wi-Fi issues significantly detracted from my experience. With better maintenance and customer service, this hotel has the potential to offer a great stay, but unfortunately, my experience fell short of expectations

I've stayed here for a few months now and will gladly stay for a few more! The rooms are comfy, on-site team is super warm, the location is unbeatable, and communication is great. Beds are terrific and the building is steps from both Roma and Condessa. Perfect for both short and long stays. My one gripe was not having a closet in the classic suite, but the smaller rooms have them and it makes a huge difference with organization. I love staying here and suggest you do as well! Coming here was a great choice! Highly recommended!

Fantastic area of the city to stay in. Beautiful park 2 blocks away. Hotel is on a busy street so there is noise. This hotel has a security guard on the main level 24/7, however there is no front desk or staff on sight. All communication is done on-line. Housekeeping on request. Very cool rooftop. No air conditioning, but there is a fan. Very modern and clean. I enjoyed it so much I extended my stay. Would definitely stay here again. This area is fantastic.

Loved the location and the rooftop. Rooms are hot and there a little fan that doesn’t help much, bed is comfortable and staff is nice. Especially Antonio, he is the front desk gentleman and he is helpful and kind.

I loved my stay at Kukun, staff were friendly and helpful. I felt comfort that they had 24 hour security to let you in/out. Their communication was prompt and the rooms were well represented. My partner had gotten sick and they accomodates us to stay another day with a fast reply and kindess. Really great place.

Pros: Comfortable bed, clean room, WiFi internet was fast, front desk guard was helpful and poilte, and there is a washer/dryer where I could do laundry for the week. Cons: The overall neighborhood is great (La Condesa is beautiful and green with a very large park at its center), but the hotel's specific location is not. The noise from the street outside is extremely loud. I made the mistake of staying here during the week of Dia de los Muertos, and there were literally hundreds of kids cruising up and down the block on their motorcycles, from around 9pm to midnight or later, revving their engines and honking their horns. Even with the ear plugs that the hotel provides, the noise disrupted my sleep schedule (and therefore my work schedule) for the whole week. Also, the hot water took a long time to come on, and it wasn't even that hot when it eventually appeared.

I live in the Lower East Side in NYC and I'm used to noise, but please note that this property is LOUD. The building is on a major road, and the windows do not insulate noise at all. They provide foam earplugs for use, but these become very uncomfortable when worn for a full night. Contributing to the noise, this room is not on the top floor as advertised. It's on the third floor. Additionally, if coming home late, the 24-hour staffed door is sometimes slow to open. You do not receive a door code for the outside door and rely on someone to wake up to the knocking in order for the door to open. That said, the room was nice, location is great (other than the traffic noise). Just don't expect to sleep well. I would not stay here again for more than one or two nights - the lack of sleep will catch up to you otherwise.

Nice pics, but disappointing experience.
Unfortunately, it was not a nice experience. The hotel room was very very cold. There was no heating available. In very cold Mexican nights, you basically sleep in a very cold environment (note: there is also no air con available in hot summer days either). The communication with the management was not successful. They will offer you blankets. All in all, it was disappointing. I will not stay at Kukun hotels again.
