    Arrival

We leave a welcome treat of Mexican candies, water and beer in the fridge.

    Guest Access:

The whole apartment is yours: 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, the TV lounge, kitchen, living and dining room.

Security staff are at the building entrance 24/7, and a small elevator takes you to the 3rd floor. A smart lock with your own code opens the apartment door, so you can arrive any time after check-in.

There is no parking in the building; a paid parking lot is a short walk away.

    The Neighborhood:

Hipodromo is the leafy heart of Condesa, built around an old racetrack that is now Parque Mexico and Avenida Amsterdam. Your street is a quiet dead end, yet you are a block from cafes and taquerias.

    • Supongo Cafe: 1 min walk

    • Pane en Via bakery and restaurant: 3 min walk

    • El Califa tacos: 6 min walk

    • Plaza Citlaltepetl and its fountain: 9 min walk

    • Ecoducto linear park for a morning run: 10 min walk

    • The Avenida Amsterdam loop around Parque Mexico: 11 min walk

    • Parque Mexico and Foro Lindbergh: 14 to 16 min walk

    • Mercado Medellin food market: 16 min walk

    • Parque Espana: 18 min walk

In fall the city fills up for Day of the Dead, with altars and parades in early November, and in December the parks and plazas light up for the holidays.

    Getting Around:

You do not need a car. Metro Chilpancingo (Line 9) is a 4 min walk and the Insurgentes Metrobus (Line 1) is about 6 min, so Roma, Condesa and the Historic Center are easy to reach. Rideshare is quick and cheap: the Angel of Independence is about 5 min by car, the Anthropology Museum about 7 min and the Zocalo about 10 min outside rush hour. The airport is about 8 miles away, roughly 16 to 25 min by car depending on traffic. If you drive, there is no parking in the building, but a paid lot nearby is inexpensive.
