Disliked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, listing accuracy
Our experience at this property was extremely negative and I would strongly caution travelers before booking.
We reserved a three-bedroom apartment where the listing states the base rate accommodates up to six guests. When we arrived late at night, building security denied us entry and insisted the reservation only allowed two people. We were asked to pay additional cash to enter despite what the listing said. After a long and uncomfortable interaction we were eventually allowed inside. My partner is a CDMX native, so language was not a barrier at all.
Once in the unit, several basic amenities were missing. There were no towels and no hand soap provided. When we attempted to resolve this with staff, the interaction with security became intimidating. We contacted management for help, but instead of resolving the situation we were asked to leave the property early and told we would receive a refund for the unused nights.
The building itself also appeared poorly maintained. The elevator was broken and covered with a sheet of plywood, and there was vomit on the staircase from another guest that remained there for days without being cleaned.
After being asked to leave, the promised refund has not been given.
Originally, our group had four separate reservations for about 15 people at this property. After learning about our experience, everyone canceled and moved to another accommodation that actually felt like a proper vacation stay.
Do not stay here.
