Great property in a great location
Great property, great host, great location, mattresses need an upgrade. The queens/doubles need replacing. They're fine if you only have one person per bed, but they sag in the middle otherwise. There are a few things that need some additional work on the property (caulking replacement in a few locations, for example) so if you're a snob you might be offended, but the minor maintenance issues were not a reflection of the cleanliness, which was excellent. Would definitely stay here again. There's also an excellent Nicaraguan restaurant nearby (Sazon Nica).

Home away from home
From the start, Christopher, who is the host was accommodating. Our check-in was at 5pm, he was kind to let us check-in at 4pm. The house is exactly as advertised on VRBO website. The house was clean, felt welcoming and comfortable spacious property. The master bedroom beds were a little hard, but that did not bother us because we spent most of our time downstairs most of the time during our stay, we utilized the kitchen everyday to cook breakfast and dinner. We literally felt like it was home away from home. There is a bbq grill, lawn chairs, and everything you need to take your family to the beach. Key Largo and Miami is both 30 mins away from the property. And there is a small shopping center and Walmart for grocery shopping 10 mins away. The neighborhood is beautiful and quiet. Christopher can control the thermostat remotely which was so nice because we couldn’t figure out how to adjust it. We were so cold when it was set at 68, so we asked Christopher to set the temp at 73 and were comfortable throughout the house. We truly enjoyed our stay and will book here again when we come back to Florida.

Nice Place
Overall, I enjoyed this place. 5 of us stayed here and there was more than enough space for everyone. Everyone had their own bed, the main bedroom has 2 double beds which my wife and I didn't think we could share. Nobody found the beds particularly comfortable. There are 3 bathrooms, all nice but some of the toilets clogged easily, made a lot of noise when filling, and would constantly refill. I tried cleaning one of the flappers to help the problem but couldn't completely fix the slow leak. The bathrooms had some burned out light bulbs but still had decent lighting. There are plenty of comfortable couches (3) for sitting but only 4 good dining chairs. There were many more old worn down dining chairs in the garage that allowed us to sit 5 at the table. There isn't much close by dining in the area so you'll likely want to eat many meals here. Dining choices are about a 10 minute drive. For cooking, the kitchen was decently stocked, but I was a little frustrated that there were no good liquid measuring cups. There are measuring spoons, dry measuring cups, but no liquid measuring cups. I suppose you could use the dry cups for liquids, I ended up using a 2oz shot glass to measure out 2c of water for making rice. The coffee machine ended up being a mix of 2 half broken coffee machines. The coffee came out fine, it's just a bit quirky. Overall, I'm happy with my stay and thought it was a good value. I would stay here again if I'm in the area.

Great option for staying in Southern Florida
Easy access to the Everglades, the Keys, and Miami. Property is clean, in good condition, spacious and well equipped. The washing machine and dryer are a bonus and things like cooler boxes left in the garage are a nice touch. Would benefit from private outdoor space.

The property was spacious and had all the features expected. There were plenty of paper products, linens and kitchen cleaners. The neighborhood was nice and we enjoyed many walks. We wished there was more of a private outdoor space. Good location for visiting the Everglades.

National parks trip
We came to south Florida to see the national parks and it was a good location. The house had everything needed for a comfortable stay (2 adults, 3 children). When we needed to contact the owner, he and his team were very quick to respond. Thank you!

Great potential but was good and bad
No communication from the property manager ahead of arrival. The home was clean but needed a woman’s touch when it comes to interior decorating. Random pictures are hung on the walls but their is no theme to the pictures chosen. The tv was not set up properly. It repeated verbally and harshly every button pushed on the remote to the point it was not enjoyable to watch. The property has great potential and is in a very nice location if these issues are fixed. Particularly communication from the property manager.

No communication from the property manager ahead of arrival. We provided automatic door codes to Tamar D, we telephone check in Tamar D, we text her as follow up call each day. Tamar could not use the auto door lock we talk to her about use many times during the stay. Communications were very good. The home was clean but needed a woman’s touch when it comes to interior decorating. BnB cannot be like personal homes – this is because guest damaged items regularly. Hence, we must have a hotel style to the property not soft women touch even tho., we would 4 women care for the cleaning weekly here. We paint the property once per month for example. Tamar complained but when she left the property, we had to dispose of 15 sheets, 8 towels and we lost 6 drinking glasses and other damaged kitchen items. Random pictures are hung on the walls but their is no theme to the pictures chosen. We try our best, but we cannot decorate to please everyone, Tamara did not like how we positioned the photos on the walls. I do not like the photos at the Hilton front Desk, but this does not affect my stay. The tv was not set up properly. It repeated verbally and harshly every button pushed on the remote to the point it was not enjoyable to watch. We have new Smart TVs in the property – some guest cannot operate, the new remotes these days and we understand – we cannot deploy staff to show guest how to use remote control. The property has great potential and is in a very nice location if these issues are fixed. What issues – the paintings on the wall, Smart TV remotes, 99% of guest don’t really worry about pictures on the wall.

3 Month Stay in 2022
We enjoyed our stay in Homestead. Christopher was a pleasure to deal with, very accommodating, and quick to respond to our questions. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were spacious. I especially loved the big walk-in closet in the main bedroom. Traffic is definitely heavier than what we were used to, but the location was great, centrally located to Miami, the Florida Keys, and the Everglades. There is so much to see and do. We enjoyed going weekly to the Redland Market for our produce and trying different foods. We trailered our Honda trike and 2 kayaks and spent many hours riding and kayaking. The time flew by too quickly. Many thanks, Christopher!

Just what we needed
We had plenty of bed space and bathrooms for three adults and three teenage boys and their electronics. We were able to prepare all our own meals. The location was close to the Everglades entrance, Biscayne NP and several state parks we planned to visit, as well as Robert Is Here. With the garage, we could park the van and the pickup full of kayaks safely.

Extended-family Everglades Trip
This was a very nice place, with plenty of room, that worked very well for the 6 of us (3 couples) to stay and spend time together as a family. We thoroughly enjoyed visiting the Everglades several days during our stay. It was wonderful to have a washer and dryer to use too.

Great for long-term stays!
We were here for six weeks. This was an excellent place for a long-term stay. The house is clean, spacious, well-stocked, and conveniently located. The city of Homestead had everything we needed, and is close to all the things we wanted to do--visiting the Everglades and Biscayne, going to cultural events in Miami, sailing in Miami, and checking out the Florida Keys. Calling this Home and truly feeling it
It Is the best place to be ever stayed Because it really felt like being at home having all things addressed here the towels and wonderful facilities everything very convenient and everything very centralized with all things around us easily accessible including the shopping centres and the venues that we came for! Our host and property manager Molly was very hospitable and obliging in more ways than can be described in words! She took care of all concerns and details with enjoyment and dedication in making our stay memorable! PThe owners Joanne and Christopher were very obliging and very honourable and we totally would love to enjoy residing in their home on our next trip here to Miami. Great Location, safe and quiet neighbourhood.
Great location . Wonderful people to deal with. Molly is the best and we were very appreciative of her personal assistance. Chris kept us updated on plans re preparations for hurricane Dorain and we had absolutely to problems. Neighbourhood is so safe my grandchildren actually went exploring alone and actually met some of the neighbours. Would definitely recommend to anyone for self or with family.

Terrific Time at Tata's Vacation Home
If you are looking for a easy and cozy townhouse this is the perfect location. The home was immaculate and everything was set for us to relax. Instructions given were easy to follow and Molly was great about checking in to make sure no issues arose. The location was convenient to our many day trips, Everglades, fishing, Key West, etc. The biggest bonus was having WALMART close by for all those last minute items we forgot to bring! Christopher and Joanna are a great family to work with.

Wonderful people, wonderful place
Great place to stay during a vacation. Close to all major roads but at the same time it is in a quiet neighbourhood with great neighbours. It feels safe too. Walmart just around the corner, Florida Keys Outlet only a few mils away. What's not to like :) The house has everything you can ask for and Chris and Molly are very helpful in every matter. We would choose this place again next time we visit Miami.

Home away from home!

Spacious Property
We recently stayed at Christopher's property in July. There were 8 of us (5 adults, 3 kids under 4). The property was definitely spacious enough for us. It is located further south and did take 30 minutes or so to go anywhere we wanted to but that was because of the places we decided to go. The spaciousness was definitely worth the extra drive time. We've previous been cramped in other rentals that are closer to town on previous visits to the area. Property is conveniently located by the turnpike and there is a Wal-Mart market only a few minutes away. We will definitely stay here again in the future.

Super clean and comfortable house
Thanks again Christopher, for having us in your very nice and clean house. We really enjoyed our stay. We found all we needed for the daily belongings, the beds and the baths were very comfortable and clean, same as the entire house and also the kitchen served all we needed. What more to say? 😊 We would come back! I only would like to give 2 hints about the outer environment. The one is, that some streets away from the house, some folks seams starting motor car races in the night. One will not hear it when the windows are closed, but we kept it open over night and then it partly became loud. The other is to really only park in the driveway on the back of the house. We somehow missed the respective traffic signs on the street, in front of the house, and got a warning, that a couple of hours later, we would be towed away. As we saw the sticker on the car early enough, luckily nothing worse happened. To underline: Both aspects wouldn’t hinder us from renting the house a second time, it’s only to consider.

A pleasant stay with great service
We had a very pleasant stay in Naranja. We were familiar with the neighborhood, so it felt like coming home. We felt safe and comfortable. The house is fully furnished. Anything you need for a holiday well spent was available like extra chairs etc. And every facility offered has been thought through. So it's renter friendly but still with high quality and service. Sheets, bedding and towels for example were taken care of. We did not meet the owner in real life which I usually prefer (atleast not on the day of arrival). But Christopher was so quick in response and easy to communicate with, we would definitely like to meet him next time.

Zufriedenstellende Unterkunft
Die Unterkunft ist für eine Familie mit mehreren Personen sehr gut. Parken direkt am Haus auf eigenem Parkplatz. Diverse Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants in der Nähe. Fahrt nach Miami dauert etwas,je nach Uhrzeit aufgrund von hohem Verkehsaufkommen rund um die Stadt. Everglades perfek zu erreichen. Vermieter jederzeit erreichbar und meldete sich von selbst auch zwischendurch.
